God that game last year was an awful watch, being behind to the Eagles at 3QT with that feeling of dread that yes, we'll probably get our s**t together in the final term but there's at least a 20% chance we totally drop our bundle.

Reckon Sunday will be quite a bit different with Barrass gone and Gov not playing, they feasted last time.

Interesting that WC have gone the two rucks (Williams playing forward), will Allan play back or will they try all of Waterman / Allan & Williams in the forward line as there's no way we can cover all that height (although it would mean we could just walk it out of defence every time)?

surely stocker isnt injured and was dropped for poor form?

We just extended his contract.

Not being selected after only playing 1 game back from injury is hardly a sign anyone is out the door or disliked by the coaching staff.
Think I missed that, but happy about it.
How many did he get?

Disappointing to see Boxshall dropped, especially for a game back in his home state, you can't accuse RTB of being sentimental.

Collard lucky to hold his spot, hopefully he can repay the faith.

I’m happy for Gus. He’s been the best performed ‘defender’ for a minute.

He's a solid mark and looks like his best spot is as an undersized third tall defender. There is a spot if he can perform.
It’s a surprising selection however I like it.

99.9% of the forum would have him out the door at season’s end so I’m glad it’s in his hands to jump up and claim a 2026 list spot. Assuming he has both the drive and the ability.

If he fails at least he’ll know, and we’ll know, we gave it a shot.

Go mad young Gus 👍🏻

Pretty reasonable changes. Happy to see Trav presumably play some HBF, assuming he’s the one taking Stocker’s place. Think that’s likely to be his best position at senior level for the time being. That said, he’ll possibly be sub.

Guessing that Mason goes back to the wing, and Windy back on ball, so hopefully if that’s the case he puts his hand up to keep that spot going forward.

Lance is a lucky fellow. Presumably keeping that spot warm for Butler, unless he plays a blinder.

Pretty diabolical key defensive options!

I think Caminiti will go back so Wood has to go forward. Windy stays on a wing

Pou hopefully to play more midfield means Collard starts in the 22 and Trav is unfortunately sub

But our team this time is significantly weaker than that lot last year.

I would rather see Windy play half back flank, and Trav get mid minutes. Windy's decision making is horrible. He just hacks it forward without looking consistently. Trav looks like he can absorb a tackle and get hands off.

Windy has played half back flank before and gone okay. Keep the game simple might be the way to go, at least we know he can defend.

If Windy is in our best midfield rotation in a couple of years something has gone awry IMO.

I reckon Byrnes is substantially better but gets 5x more negative attention.

Agree with all this, except I think Trav replaces Boxshall in the 22, so with Gus replacing Stocker, that leaves Collard as the sub again
