Yeah he's a hard nut who tries hard so he's very likeable. Just a bit too short I reckon, if he was 195cm he'd be the perfect replacement for Doogs but at 188cm and not quick I just don't know what his position is at AFL level.
I see him as a Wilkie/Jweb type. Since his under 18’s he very rarely loses a 1vs1

He's a third tall interceptor who's a bit undersized. Hasn't hurt Sicily or Tom Stewart. just needs to be good enough.

is it just me or sinclair last week played way more up the ground and even in the forward line at times? has he had a role change or was it just by chance? With pou being injected more mid, or atleast we hope, would that mean sinclair goes back to a distribution role off half back again or is he more likely to be used in this mid/fwd type split?

It was in the second half when Sinc had some CBAs while Ross was also trying to congest stoppages by bringing a HB and a HF up to stoppage

Most glaring difference is the quality of foot skills - which the coaches have been trying for a long time to drill into Gus
That's actually great to hear.
The way we seem to have let players just muddle along with the skills they arrive with, or let them deteriorate...
I cry when I watch the dogs play, even when they're no good, lasering passes around. They must've trained differently to us.

Rolled him through the midfield trying to generate something after being smashed in clearances. He occasionally does that but it is a desperation measure usually. His best footy is off HBF.

One of my kids footy coaches was running drills with Bevo and said he does lots of skills training. He said he used one where they used hands only inside a rope cordon. The players had everyone in to and had to move it through traffic and he reckons after a while the players skills were outrageously better. Sounds like he's a really positive empowerment heavy coach. Gets players to play their own games and back themselves.

Bevo is a maniac but I absolutely love him. I'm sad the Richo to Bevo handover never happened.
