Overall a good win, though we need loooads of improvement.

I thought tonight's game was dipped in free kicks. It was overloaded with them tonight and some came out of no where. One which startled me was giving the free kick to C.Bolts when clearly Gehrig and C.Bolts were holding on each other. Should've been a play on or a ball up.

But hey! 4 points is good enough for me. Since when did the Swans receive more free kicks against their opponents. We should frame this match...

A couple of our maligned players played well today. McVeigh presented around the forward line and kicked a few in what was a congested area for much of the night.

And Paul Bevan ran very hard across half back, matched up physically when needed to and ran with his team mates to position and worked hard in taking up some of Mal's slack as I think Malceski did something during the game that slowed him up a bit.

Paul Bevan has really stepped up this year, and he's been holding onto his man tightly recently and his pace and confidence is up. He's not looking for options as much and is creating his own by taking a few risks and all.

BTW, i cringed all the time when someone tackles Tadhg. Thankgod he pulled up well seeing this game was going to be a tight and congested game.
