damn, dissapointing to hit the front and not go on with it. Cant fault the way we fought it out today, and some encouraging performances.
McGuane was great, Im sold, hes got game.
Moore, solid looking unit, solid game.
Deledio found confidence in this game, really lifted in the second half
Polak made a contest from about halfway through the 2nd quarter.
Hyde ran the lines well and took them on everytime.
The tackling and pressure was the best ive seen for a while from our lads. Some silly errors but thats to be expected from our side. Liked the intensity today

Great effort from most of the blokes, but as many have said here, decision making absolutely killed us. We made the wrong moves going into forward so many times I was pulling my hair out. Just look at the last 5-7 minutes as proof.
Loved McGuane and Moore's game, thought they were excellent.

Wallance said a stat that came out during the week that the Swans rucks playing today, over the years, have a combined total of hit out of 5000+..ours....134!!!
Didn't come to the game expecting to win, and it was not to be. However there are some definite positives to come out of this match.

Have to agree, Sydney's experience got them over the game today and I reckon if Simmons played we would probably win due to Everitts fitness. We are young and it's good to see Terry has faith to play the same team as last week. We'll get better, I'm getting sick of morons thinking we should be playing finals every year.

yep you guys definitely played above expectations today and probably deserved to win
lots of young talent for the future and definitely missed simmonds in the ruck
the umpiring was disgraceful and we easily got the better of it - the difference of the HTB rule compared to last week was amazing
