Apart from that unmentionable game, the Crows are our dear friends . They gave us love and support when the cry baby went home lol
Some of us will never get over the crap they gave us leaving the MCG after the 1998 GF. Way over the top. You’d reckon they’d be celebrating their victory, rather than heaping vitriol on the losing team supporters? The only reason they supported us during the JHF saga was because PA are their mortal enemies.

I think we can make Comben the spare again - question is, which forward can we exploit?
First one that comes to mind is Walker (due to age).

So maybe something liiiike:
B: Corr (Rachele), Logue (Thilthorpe), Pink (Fogarty)

HB: Daniel (Neal-Bullen), Comben (Walker), McDonald (Keays)

The thing that terrifies me is when Rankine runs through there - no real matchup for him...
Wouldn’t be letting tex get off the chain, his field kicking for a big man is brilliant. Give him time and he’ll carve us up

One part of me sees this game as a bit of a free hit. We’ve shown what we can do. I expect us to build on this with some victories- in Melbourne. With the best will in the world, it’s hard taking on Adelaide at home - especially, when they’re up and about. I’ll be disappointed if we get flogged by them. However, there’s light years between playing them in Adelaide and playing them in Marvel.

If you want someone to go with Rankine when he’s up forward it’s 100000% FOS.

Fit, fast, courageous and composed. His positioning is very good.

I’d be going:

Tucker (Keays)
Logue/Pink (Fogarty)
Corr (Tex)
Lmac (Rachele)
Chom (Thilthorpe)

If you want Chom to intercept, just put heat on the ball up the ground. He doesn’t have to play loose

Yeah unfortunately he will be a problem for anyone

Their forward line is the best in the comp imo to have the 3 potent talls and then the 3-4 dangerous smalls

Plus they have Curtin who drifts forward too but can play anywhere
If we can win the midfield battle as we did against the Dees then that will go a long way in curbing their forward line's influence. So far they have played 2 teams who have been awful with their intensity

Winners are grinners they say.
But don’t you worry our time will come

Except these guys weren’t grinning, AB. I would have happily accepted “grinning”. They were vomiting bile in our direction.
The only time their 5000 supporters in our area stopped abusing my crew was to chant "Ali.. Ali.." as the great man drove past in his cavalcade.

The moment his car passed.. straight back into the vile spitting.

I'll never forget that day, that we never talk about.

I'll be heading up to Adelaide on Friday but I'm not overly interested in catching up with any posters. I've got like heaps of mates already. I've even got 6 mates in Adelaide from when I played the Mahjong State Champs in 1987 in the City of Churches. Finished a respectable equal 7th. I'll never forget it. Won an all expenses paid trip to Port Fairy thank you very much.
Did you see Lady Julia Percy Island and the smelter?

Couple of potential Kerridges right there.

One thing is for certain in this one, the home crowd will influence the whistle blowers from the first bounce to the final siren.. everyone should prepare their neighbours now for the inevitable yelling of expletives come Sunday..
Keays is averaging something like 2.5 goals and 20 touches a game this year. If he is available for the kerridge then get on him.

Crows are due for a downer

Our mids need to win it from the middle.

Dawson needs to be nullified - id task Tucker with this job when he’s not on ball.
Need to cut supply to their all star forward line
Our 3 kpds need to play their position and rotate whoever moves to that position

Their no name defence gets the job done but still cop a decent score against last week - bit of blighty shootout
All the pressure is on the crows.
