looks like bower might be able for 4-5 weeks ****
was told he could play this week, but they are giving him another week off, because there is not as much a need to play him this week. (Match up wise).
I have also heard what you are saying as well

Time will tell :thumbsu:

That's what worries me HBF.

Are they allowed to do this HBF not naming emergencies.

Don't be surprised if Divey is named as an emergency

At least the other diver Monfries is definitely OUT.

Like the inclusion of Lucus. We have a bucketload of leg speed in that lineup. Very quick. Still don't like Bower out of that side. Our midfield is ridiculously powerful and talented. And next week the best footballer in the AFL returns to that already impressive midfield group. Hope we can kick straight this week - still can't believe how we worked out a way to lose to the Brisbane Retreads last week.

:)

Look who is back for the Scum

We recruited Ablett!!!! :eek::eek::eek: :D

We should be 2 and Zip.

We would normally expect at least 4.4 from the 8 shots that Yarran, Betts and Waite had between them......at a minimum without being silly.

We got 6 points.

Waite won't have to push back this week leaving the same forward structure we saw vs Tigers........and I think if mentally we are "on" we can do some damage to the Dons this week. :thumbsu:

We owe them more than one.

Apart from the above players missing, also remember, in previous yeras, Lovett was the one player they had that always did something to win the game for them against us. He is not there now.

Emergencies being bandied about are Howlett (bloody stiff to get dropped), Hardingham and Daniher.

Just as an aside, like Eddie Betts, Nathan Lovett-Murray will be playing his 100th game in the match.

got a funny feeling about all this.:o

If you are a bit worried then I guess the rest of us can all relax, because going on your form you haven't got a clue, 4 players named in your OP and not a single one was correct. Good work :thumbsu:

Edit: credit where due, 5 named 1 correct call, still not a great hit rate.

If we cant win this one by at least 30 points then I will be most disappointed. I dont care that they get up for us, on paper our team is 10 goals better than theirs, I will settle for half that. Go Baggers!

No disrespect to Essendon given the last 5 games but honestly, their team on paper looks a massive WTF?

People hang shit on us for our forward line, but Essendon's offensive power looks far more limited than ours. Williams has been hideous in his first two games, Gumbleton is a super talent but is taking a little time to find his feet, and Hille is an excellent ruckman but only okay forward - I really think Jamo and Thornton will be looking forward to these match-ups after being confronted with Fev and Brown last week. Essendon desperately need Hurley back and playing some good footy.

Monfries' injury is unfortunate for the Bombers but great for us as he was the only forward I was worried about this week (why does he always carve us up?!) Davey being dropped is also good for us and seems a strange omission from Knights (although I reckon Armfield or Joseph could have been relied upon to do the job there). Prismall being dropped to Bendigo for a week is interesting but probably fair enough, whilst Howlett is quite unlucky but really needs to work on his tank to run out games. Reimers will be one we have to watch as he has slipped under our guard a couple of times, but again I'm confident an Armfield or a Joseph can account for him. Four unforced changes at the selection table might indicate a touch of desperation in the Bombers camp, too.

Seriously, I will be so, so disappointed if we lose this game. We are better all across the ground and our class surely, this time, will prevail in the end?
