RDCA vs BHRDCA

Anyone play in the rep games today?

I played in the Under 18's game for the RDCA...

I would put money that BHRDCA had a good win

One of the guys i play with played for the BHRDCA A grade side. They got hammered. Apparently the BHRDCA Shield side got flogged as well.

Our Number 3 bat should have been playing for the shield rep side. Has made 295 runs in his last 3 digs.

I played for BH u/18's as a 16y.o. last year but couldnt play this year because of an extremely seriously injury...

Last year we ripped the Shield and 18's games and usually do, i'd be suprised if the tables have turned that much in 1 year

Yep...and BHRDCA is Box Hill Reorter District Cricket Association.

I was surprised to hear BHRDCA struggled even tho none of the Vermont boys seemed to play (I don't think)

With Wheelers Hill's MacDonough playing i find it hard to believe Ringwood would have made any sort of score.

Yeah he tore us apart late last year.

One of my housemates tried to hook him first ball he faced. He skied it to the keeper.

Our squad wasn't full strength either - at any level.

I sense some sour grapes!

Your Under 18's seemed far more intent on sledging us that playing cricket... the results showed where that gets you!

I got 0/20 off my 8 overs - thought I was stiff not to get a couple of LBW's but thats cricket.

Didn't get a hit because we knocked off the runs fairly quickly. Some of the sledging did go a bit over the line... but once again you get that!

There were two senior games - one of both our top senior comps where we bowled you guys out for 120ish and made them easy, and one for th elower senior games which we also won fairly easily.

In the 18's we bowled you guys out for 120 & made them 6 down, after sending in Travis Cloke for some fun... and he made a golden duck!!

In the 'lower' senior game apparently there was a Sri Lankan guy for the RDCA who hit 2 of the biggest 6's seen in a while.

From all reports most of the BHRDCA guys were extremely hungover as well.

Apparently Brad Cullen (best bat in BHRDCA) was bowled for a duck. Reckons its only the second time he's been bowled in his career? and he played District 1's for Carlton.

Question for those from BHRDCA. I was going over the scores in the Macintosh Shield where a mate of mine plays (Trevor Rowe).

I noticed in rounds 3,4 and 8 T.Rowe appeared for East Box Hill.
In rounds 6 & 9 T.Rowe appeared for Box Hill North.

Q. Is there two T.Rowe's? If so which club does Trevor play for?

I'm pretty sure its Travis Rowe who plays for East Box Hill. He hit a ton against us a few weeks ago. Also bowls off spin and took 3 wickets against us. And i'm tipping he would have payed in the BHRDCA Shield side on the w/e.

I played Box Hill North before Xmas and can't remember a Trevor Rowe playing. All i remember that day is Jamie Phillips tearing through our top order. I think we were 4/3 after 3 overs.

Where were the game's played?

The Shield game was played at Kilsyth i think, The A grade game was played at Montrose. Not sure where the other 18's played.

BHRDCA are playing again this Sunday at Blackburn. Not sure who against.

Thanks Jaymin. That makes sense. I know Trevor started at Box Hill North and then went and captain/coached Heatherdale for a while. He must've gone back to Box Hill North. Cheers.

Hmm now i'm confused.

East Box Hill's T.Rowe captain coached Heatherdale for 2 years. He was at Wantirna South for about 15 years before that.

Must be me whos confused. I saw T.Rowe captaining Heatherdale. I presumed it was Trevor, not knowing there was also a Travis.
