Hey Doon, not traveling too bad mate, pretty sore still, I have been let out of hospital and returned home now just waiting for my Right arm to heal before I can undergo a full knee reco on my right knee (torn ACL/pcl/mcl) and a full reco on my left shoulder (too many tears to mention) so a long road to travel still. I went and seen bully today he is doing a lot better than the last few weeks, he suffered a broken pelvis, broken ribs, removed section of his bowel plus a few more injuries, he is hoping to be moved to a
Rehab centre ASAP. Would like to thank the wider community of the Rdfl for their support during this tough time, hopefully we can all catch up sometime in the future for a froth or two. Cheers Meach.

What's everyone's thoughts on the MDFNL ranked 22 and RDFL ranked 28 in inter league football. I always thought rdfl was better standard of football! Am I wrong?

Last year was the 1st yr back for the Rdfl in the VCFL country championships so we have to start at the bottom and work our way up the rankings.

Small steps mate, and be guided by the experts. Best of wishes with the next steps of your recovery

You will be able to talk it is not just for members
but we will inform firstly all attending re reasons for meeting put forward a presentation
Take questions and give answers but assure you we will not be turning this into a slug fest re past personal issues we will insure all discussions has relevance re the topic of discussion being the future of the club and the roll it plays in the community
Suggest this gets now left till then

17 years of age, and now you're part of the "We" that will be addressing people who have given more time than you've been on earth. Who else will be the part of the "we" and what roles/years service have they given to the club?

This is getting far more confusing by the minute .....

I'd love to see the rdfl become a out and out country league. I don't understand 2 things about the rdfl, y it's not an country league and why do they were them poxy looking shorts that are 1 colour. You go watch a gisborne or kyneton and it sounds silly but the shorts make the outfit look so much more proffesinal

Correct me if I'm wrong but there was a time when the RDFL was affiliated with what was once know as the VCFL

So you're saying Carriss didn't get a game??

Unfortunately Patty didn't come up, struggling with a few niggles.
I have seen a fair bit of the Alberton League. I think even with some good players out the RDFL will have a win. The standard is very similar but Alberton League has lost quite a few good players to other leagues recently and also has quite a few of their better players not playing especially in key positions. Would be nice to have Carriss, Tuckey and these sorts of guys but we have a strong squad and should win.

Looking ahead to this Saturday.. what a match we have on the cards.. pride will be at stake for the RDFNL lads and lasses as we look to climb up the ladder in the interleague battle.. how do you guys think we will go? How much will the win mean for this competition. For the Seniors, we should be striving very hard over the next few years to crack into the top 20.. we can ill-afford to drop any matches with the great quality on the park.. Alberton will put up a good fight though ..[/QUOTE

That has to be the strongest bench in RDFNL history.. when neither of those guys can get a starting position, you know we have a strong side.. hats off to Romsey last night.. such a sensational club who had all hands on deck to produce a stellar night.. get behind them tomorrow.. they fed 100 last night.. imagine how good of a job they'll do with more than 1000..

Best of luck to all the RDFNL boys in both squads today.. Enjoy the occasion and enjoy big wins.. I look forward to being able to watch the games when they are uploaded to the website...

If anyone can keep the score updated in here it would be greatly appreciated, unfortunately, I will be "in transit".
