Can anyone tell me what is going on with woodend next year, I hear they are closing shop for a year because they can not find another ground to sniff the white lines off?
I'm of the belief council will find them a ground in the macedon ranges for next year. Last I heard they will be playing home games at romsey, training at the juniors grounds next to ole race course.

Kruizer u dont seem to of posted on here much before but your recent posts are no better than pure trash.I suggest ya crawl back under ya rock ya come out of n have a good think before your next post.

Just looking at the Bowen medal results. Would 16 votes be close to lowest amount of votes anyone has won with?
Possibly indicative of the even quality of the competition ? Regardless, young Murphy a great advertisement for the RDFL - articulate, quite witty and effusive in his praise for his club and the league. Outfit brought back memories of G Teasdale at the Brownlow. Held his mettle despite the "Ron Burgundy" sledges from his team mates.
Big tick to the RDFL - great night, Richo a highlight, very well run.

Looks like the Redbacks are using every available player they can to find their best 22 this week. Burlak is back after his 7 day pretend suspension, as is a player who played 1 game early in the season before going back to the VFL, and another who will make his debut this Sunday after a stellar season in the VFL

1 game doesn't meet the qualification criteria. For example if Riddell were playing then Jesse Wallin would not be able to play. Could be wrong. Sounds like Diggers have some big outs too so it's going to be even more one sided if Romsey have found 2 more players.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you have to qualify for finals by playing a certain amount of games through the year in any country or metro league in victoria? i could not see that happening.

Rules were changed this year. TAC and VFL games count as a game, as long as a local home club was nominated at the start of the season.

Had a look at the romsey ground tonight looking good, just wondering where they will park the cars?
Not much room in the park are they going to park on the new ground across the road?

Nope. TAC counts and can play, VFL does not. It's in the Football bylaws on the rdfl site.
Don't be too sure about that...Findlay was also 'not allowed' this week ;)
Ground in great nick....and plenty of carparking. They will park cars on Lancefields oval and shuttle bus everyone down..haha

All jokes aside, there is plenty of parking on the new oval across the road. Should be a fantastic day day with 6 different clubs competing for the 3 (footy) trophies.

Congrats to Nathan Blair who took out the Rising Star award for Coburg tonight.

I believe the votes dont count, along with the Bowen medal along with the brownlow medal, why is it all mid fielders win these awards, when was the last full back awarded a trophy for having under 30 goals kicked on him in a year, when was the last Ruckman awarded the votes for running the whole ground tapping the ball to mids and what abou the forwards who kick the score to win the games. All about who gets the most amount of touches, rubbish, Good luck to all backs rucks and forwards in today's granny.
