I don't think LC made last year's team of the year. His brother did though. Not 100% though.

Also, for though Roos fans, Scott Clark is playing tomorrow and Phil Conway is out I'm led to believe.

Mongrel, I'll be at the game by around 3.45, will you be around after the match? I'll shout you a beer or three with my gorilla :D

I make my umpiring debut at Assumption tomorrow morning doing a Year 8 game at the Main Oval.

My official RDFL umpiring commences Sunday at 11.30am in the Under 12s Kilmore v Melton South clash. Will be doing the Under 14s game afterwards at 1pm.

mongrel will be there with your gorilla pal.good luck on the weekend.

Diggers Rest Vs Melton Central
Diggers have been up and down so far this year and will be keen to get back on a winning note this week against rival Melton Central. With the week off a few of the Burra keys will hopefully have gotten over the niggles and be ready to fire.
Centrals were disciplined and played well last week against the Roos, the game plan executed will be tough to maintain so expect a different style this week.
Diggers by 35 points

Sunbury Kangaroos Vs Lancefield
The Roos will look to continue thier run of 07 against a Lancefield side that plays with alot of heart. The Roos will be disappointed with last week and will look to bounce back.
Lancefield were great against Romsey and were unlucky not to come away with the win. The Tigers are a tough side to play because thier top 6 players are as good as any in the comp.
Roos to win

Rockbank Vs Woodend/Hesket
A second tough one in a row for the Rams and while improving and with youngsters such as Krul returning, this will be too big an ask.
The Hawks are expecting the return of Ng and Sipthorpe this week for thier first games and will look to fit them into this already strong lineup.
Woodend by 130pts

Kilmore Vs Macedon FC
Kilmore have struggled over recent weeks and after losing Chris George have now also lost Dave Keenan. Trav Hede returns and the Blues will be looking to get back on the winners list.
Macedon have played some very good football and some disappointing football, but it is to be expected with the age of the Cats list, inexperience will eventually be played out of these boys and they will only get better.
Kilmore by 20pts

Match of the Round
Romsey Vs Riddell
The Redbacks only just got over the line against the Tigers last week and will look to step up against the reigning premiers. The key forwards need to do more for the Redbacks but quality players step up against quality teams.
The Bombers are still travelling under the radar in the league for some unknown reason. Jay Allen, Bellville and Blade are dominating and the kids in Petran and Climas are playing great football. But this week the Bombers will be missing a few. Mick Allen, Nathan Allen, Dean Besanko and Leigh Coles were all due to miss, Heath Wadden and Tim McDonald have both missed the last couple. Can the Bombers overcome these losses if they all miss the game?
Romsey by 12pts

Diggers Rest v Melton Centrals

Both sides seem to be at around the same level at the moment however the fact that the game is played at Diggers should see the Burra up by 25 points.

Sunbury v Lancefield

It was well pointed out earlier in the thread that the Roos "have had more knockers than George W". To their credit the keep geeting knocked and keep providing results, winning form is good form. The Tigers are coming off a great effort to take it up to Romsey in the last round and will be dissapointed that they The Roos by 45 points.

Rockbank v Woodend

Woodend should be too classy for the determined Rams. Will the return of Sipthorpe and Ng be a massive plus for the Hawks or will it mean 2 x in form players are dropped so these two can get some form? I expect it will be a massive plus. Rams to put up an early fight on their home turf but in the end, just not good enough. Hawks by 100 points.

Kilmore v Macedon

Kilmore seems to have found a bit of a lull in their season at present and will need to click together to have an impressive victory. I think they will be too strong for a young Macedon side, however expect a good battle. Kilmore by 36 points.

Romsey v Riddell

After a very dissapointing win (if there is such a thing) over Lancefield Romsey will be looking to step up and prove that they are a true finals threat. Riddell are a proven unit and will be hard to beat on the day. Should rumors of a few "big outs" for Riddell prove to be true it could be a good chance for the Redbacks to get good win their home soil. Romsey by 22 points.

Should be a cracking round of RDFL footy!! Great to see the league is back on the way up with the 18's squad getting a win the other night, everything loks promising for the future too!! Great work boys!!:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Nice work yet again IMS, but I think your facts are a little bit off the mark, & you may go down 1 in the tips !

Can't believe people still fall for this trap with you IMS easy way to get relevant info.

Wish they bite this easy and well at the beem Omni.

Are Macedon any chance to do the Diggers boys a favor & go 1 step further than the draw they got over at Kilmore last year ?

This could mean that they would slip into the 5 on % !

I'm not sure if they are coming back deffinately, but they were watching us play against Soutn Morang today and our president said they were. I am sure the Kilmore boys would see Glenn as no big loss as we deffinately don't rate as a Handy pick up, but we do need all the numbers we can get.

He probably wont stay after reading that! Woodend by 80 points. To Rockbanks credit they had a go-Woodend down a bit. Sippy and Ng got through the game without any problems. Both will be better for the run and will hopefuuly be in full flight after a couple of games. Sippy's toughness around the packs a good sign.

Very enjoyable day, results not my way but the Tiges showed they're headed in the right direction. Good to have a beverage or 3 with IMS, mongrel, Trueblue and Pickles.

Why do I ever doubt you mate ? YOUR info' was in fact spot on !

But then again my conclusion was correct also, guess we'll just call it one all eh ?

They should have won by 15 goals ! 10 up three quarter time switched off last quarter !

Dominated both ends plus midfield !

Should be a cracker next week given the great game there last year & all, a definite must see !

Look for me next week I'll be the one with the empty stubbie holder.

Great to see the Melton Central & Diggers Rest Auskick kids having a bit of fun during the half time break of the senior game.Even the spectators enjoyed it as well.Good to see kids line up 4 Hi 5s as Diggers ran out on the ground as well.Heard a rumour that Central will return the favour next time around .Well done to all involved
