The start of 2010 is the start of something special at Centrals with the man they call PIG opening his account as Coach u best look out!! Following in his father and his brothers foot step that his always looked up to over the years there can only be success for the future of PIG and the Centrals!!! And with PIG also being in peak condition and still a long way out from the season beware opposition PIG is the total package!
So bring on 2010 and hopefully one day soon in the future we see DEV pop down to training and share some of that nowledge with PIG and the boys!!!

I hope he has a stella year at Riddell. Am sure he will be welcomed back at the Catery if it isnt as promised.

Please tell me your not serious?
Surely macedon have come far enough now not to have to go through this crap again. In case people have forgotten, this is not the first time.
Last time blade went to macedon and posed for all the newspaper photos and left not long after.this is the 3rd time he has left, for fuc#s sake lets forget about him.he is not a cat at heart and never will be

It is not a fact - I was on the golf course early Dec when Power called Hose to organise a catch up for that week after agreeing to split with Sunba. Then I took Powers money with a super back nine.

Hose got bigger offers from Taylors Lakes and another EDFL side. It had to do with ground conditions, being able to train only once a week and the gap between Rids offer and Hose's request for match payments being to big.

And if there was a promise of another flag for Blade is still well and truely alive. And I don't believe he was promised a flag but to be part of a strong side in 2010 that have a great recent history of winning flags.

Are you cutting and pasting your posts?

I'm sure most club's have a bloke or two who comes and goes a fair bit over his career - yet each time he's in that club's colours no one cares to worry too much

That is true mate but I am sure it gets a bit frustrating if they keep going to clubs in the same league. Sure sometimes a bloke wants or needs a change of scenery but head to a club outside the league for a year or two then come back. Christ knows there are so many bloody clubs and leagues to pick from

Thanks for the kind words specialfriedrice. Just trying to work out who you are??? Did you play for the Footscray Football club? Were you an exciting ball carrier with a penertrateing left boot? Did you have to get a special comb when getting your hair cut? If anyone else out there can help me out please feel free to post your own questions about the identity , of specialfriedrice!!!

For Christ’s sake pal get over it, you bitter bitter little man, the issue has been done to death ! You did’nt hear a peep outa Riddell when he left them & went to you blokes last season, so cop it on the chin like a man & move on.
Since you are NOT in Bladey’s head you can Assume & Equivocate all you like as to the real reason or reasons why he has decided to leave the Cats, but at the end of the day……….. & you will like this one – “FACT” – Macedon failed to retain the services of a very very useful & highly decorated player…. Period !

I will also add for those attempting to assassinate the blokes character on here – Up until very late last year Bladey was out there actively trying to recruit players of quality to the Macedon Football Club !

Now that sure doesn’t sound to me like someone who was not content with their lot up there at Catland.

So maybe just maybe the cause of his sudden departure lays at the feet of those that stupidly tried to change the terms of his playing agreement with the Club !

For what its worth (after sniffing the wind) I think Aaron has made the right choice, in what must have been a very difficult & courageous decision & has given himself another REAL chance to participate in some more September Glory.

Jesus there musnt be to much happening around the traps if the last two pages on here is filled with crap about one player.
Who gives a shit if he has gone back to riddell, people chop n change clubs all the time now.
Surely theres plenty happening around the district at other clubs ?
Seeing that there seems to be a bit of coin floating around now do you think there would be enough to splurge on some smoking hot cheer leaders to be placed behind the goals at each game, a la the infamous eddelston era at the swans ?

Anyone know of any Sunday games schedualed for this season? or is it to hard due to juniors playing on a Sunday? Wallan V Kilmore round 1 would be a good chance to showcase the league and a huge crowd would be in attendence, other teams would get a chance to have a look at both sides, James up forward would also be worth a look in a game between two rivals!

Proposed round 1 start, fixture still not finalised

Round 1 - April 10
Lancefield v Riddell
Kangaroos v Broadford
Diggers Rest v Woodend/Hesket
Wallan v Kilmore
Macedon v Romsey
Melton Centrals v Rockbank

Thanks Blues12 - how solid is that start date (April 10)? And when is the fixture finalised and released?

Trying to book holidays!
Cheers

The start date is definite. The AGM is Monday night. Hopefully the fixture will be approved either then or very shortly after.

Slyone - Sunday games are arranged at the request of the competing clubs, with approval from the RDFL. It does depend on ground availability having regard to juniors etc.

I would expect to see the Kilmore Vs Sunbury Kangaroos Anzac Day fixture to continue this year, which would mean a Sunday game with AJ fronting up against his former RDFL club... :thumbsu:

Just don't let em agree, then play dumb and pull out on you with a week to go IMS. Thankfully there are some credible people there like RGS, me good old mate Rysa and many players and even committee who apologised time and time again (and some still do) for what a couple at Kilmore FC did to us last season

I think RGS will have more of an idea on that one, i know an enquiry has been made, I think the biggest problem will be if the juniors are fixtured to play on ANZAC day. I know a few senior players at sunbury are also involved with the juniors, and i would assume the same at Kilmore.

In the proposed draw the 2 clubs are scheduled to meet the week prior, maybe they should re jig that game to the next week. then wait and see what is done with the junior draw that is released later.

I spoke with the RDFL recently about fixture moves, and the impression I got was that the fixture as it stands now is final. My comment was that given the AGM was delayed, maybe we could re-jig some games. So my understanding is that the latest revision of the fixture will be final and approved Monday.

We can never host Sunday games given the juniors are overflowing with teams. They always have teams playing home and away, so there's never a week our ground is free.

We're keen to play Broadford at their groundon a Sunday, and have asked the RDFL if they can list it in the actual fixture for a Sunday of its agreed. (Save last seasons issues).

Once again omni you let yourself down with false truths. Stop professing to know it all when it is clear you actually know very little why bladey left the cats. In fact just to put you in the know, why dont you call one of the hardworking committee men/women down at the cats and ask them for their version of events. Oh thats right you have burnt all your bridges down there and are still bitter that you are no longer welcome at the club.
