burlak is a great player and will get in the team of the year. great mark!!
you rate players on the importance to their team. and those two players would have to be l.james and a. james. would be very hard for these teams to win the grandfinal without their stars.
james virtually won the grand final last year by himself
sims and robertson i enjoy wathing the most but their teams could win without them

the last 3 seasons Kilmore has gone 17-17 in the games that robertson has played and 2-14 in games that he hasnt played, not to sure about sims but yes- your knowledge overwhelmes me

Rubbish... Sims and Robbo would be 2 of the most important players to thier respective sides... Sims is, IMO the best captain in the competition, any player who can have his side gel behind him as Sims does deserves that recognition....

Good to see Macedon beat Woodend on the weekend. They have troubled some of the finals contenders without getting the points this year.

There was a rumour that a player was suspended for abusing a spectator on the weekend, i find this hard to believe. But anything is possible this year.
I dont know about he suspension mate but i know for a fact that the Macedon full back was reported twice for abusing a spectator...not sure of his name but he wears number 54...he is a bit of a loose cannon but thought it was a bit harsh to be reported twice...if a spectator is giving it to a player from over the fence then i think more should be done about the spectator...all he did was retaliate!

Who do you think will win out of Sunbury and Romsey this week and why???
Sunbury , because of the A.James factor . Can anyone [individual] in the Riddell league get close to beating this man one out , i would think the only person that could be half a chance will be at the opposite end of the ground come Grand Final day [L.James] he played full back at Sunbury Lions .

you might be right about the 1 bloke that might stop him but comon you pick sunbury because of james, dont forget they beat them earlier in the year with a full list and sunbury had injuries. sunbury are closer to full strength now and romsey have injuries, back them for that reason, but your right he will make it even harder

old is a bit harsh his only 23 and still has plenty of good footy a head of him. he has had a couple of bad injuries the last couples off years which has provented him to play at full fitness and at his best. remembering he won the kilmore senior best and fariest in 2004..

Yeah there might be two, one would be Lee James and the other Robbie Ellis the Roos CHB!
Mick McCarthy from Romsey is the best FB in the comp... Would like to see the matchup.. Doubtful it will happen this week though, also like to see the James-Peatling matchup come the Riddell game.. Although I dont think either will be able to stop him completely, it will be interesting if they are able to stop him within the rules.. Especially Peatling....:thumbsu:

The bloke from romsey number 37 Warren Kairns had a great day, james had a bad day, but credit to warren he got his fist to the ball just about everytime it came in, well done. romsey didn't need to play 2 on him.
Full credit to all the boys at the roos just proved that it is not just the AJ show. a good win and a great game of football, despite a couple of things in white.

Aaron James got reported again
Yeah your right he did.And i heard from a good source that he's gonna give it away due to the umpires just not giving him a fair go i was at the game at romsey and they seem to have a set of rules for James and another set for all other players. I think it's wrong and if the league wants to attracted other high profile players it had better get this right because players like James get people through the gates and that can only be a good thing for the rdfl. We wouldn't want to be driving players away from this comp!!!

i am not a kangaroos fan(far from it actually) but i have seen aaron james play 2 games this year and in both of those games he was given the sh@t end of the stick by the umpires no doubt,to me they look like they have been told to be very harsh on him just because he is used to playing at a higher level.i can understand his frustration every week, and it will be the umps fault if he does give it away, though i hope it doesn't come to that because having him in the league creates huge interest on a saturday.

HERE HERE!!!!!!The people who run this competition should be looking to make it the best they possibly can i don't think they are. It wouldn't take much to get the rdfl a better profile instead of the one it currently has.
Have a good look at yourselves!

What a load of garbage. It's country football with country umpires.
The man is getting $1000 a game, with that money he is expected to put up with whatever the crowd dishes out to him, or whenever he doesn't get a free kick he deserves.

]He's not on $1000 a game and even if he was no one should be expected to put up with what he cops from idiots in the crowd. How much do you earn at work and would you be ok if some d i c k head came to your work and started abusing you and expected you to just put up with it? I don't think so!
So don't comment on things before you think about putting yourself in someone like James's shoes BrownGoose2!!!

Do you research you fool, and have you been at any of the games he has been reported in?

I thought it was around $300 a game then $100 a goal.

What was he reported for?
