Yeah I do recall him going full speed in to the Cats' bench. No idea how he got away from that one with only a laceration to the head.Kardinia Park used to be pretty shocking too. Remember Hunter in that famous comeback game almost cracked his skull on the concrete barriers.

Oh boo, Lost. Jungle Polar Bears are on the loose, better build a golf course. Boo.
Disney? Still in cryogenic storage I believe. It's a magical way to go.And what the hell happened to Walt??
White? He dead.Disney? Still in cryogenic storage I believe. It's a magical way to go.
Goggins? Appearing in Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight next year.White? He dead.
Yep, nah, excellent point. How dare people trapped on a deserted* island try to have fun.Oh boo, Lost. Jungle Polar Bears are on the loose, better build a golf course. Boo.
They made the mistake of casting an 11yo to play a 9yo. The actor went through puberty around the ending of filming season 1 so all of a sudden you had a 9yo who looked 15 so they just wrote him out. It's one they'd like to take back. And what the hell happened to Walt??
My issue isnt with the building of a golf course (although who makes that one of their first moves after a plane crash), its more of an indicator that the shows creators didnt know what they were doing and made it up on a week to week basis because everybody was too scared to look dumb for not understanding it that they called it brilliant and deep. It wasn't, it was shite, everyone knows it was shite that was made up on the fly.Yep, nah, excellent point. How dare people trapped on a deserted* island try to have fun.
You call yourself a salesman you son of a bitch? It aired almost a year ago.

Like shit Dr Who has more consistency than Lost, and theyve made it however many decades making it up on the fly.
I assume that's a quote of something? You call yourself a salesman you son of a bitch?
Well it's certainly not one from Breaking Bad, which I was going to watch but now might as well not bother.I assume that's a quote of something?
I had that spoiled ... because twitter
Again, no issue with the golf course, although that is nobody's first instinct when being chased by jungle polar bears but that's unimportant. It was so hell bent on having twists it just fizzled. They can't be rescued but wait yes they can cause they can row off the island wait now they can't because the island moves, oh they got off I bet they'd all like to return to the island for some reason. If it's about the characters they have less brain cells the cast of real housewivesI'm sorry but that's such a wank. It was a 30 second scene that was meant to release the tension, and be a laugh. It was a laugh.
It's not like making the golf course was a major story arc, it was one scene. Yeh, they made a lot of it up as they went along, but so do most shows, the opening of the last season of Breaking Bad as an example.
People misinterpret Lost, it was never mainly about the mysteries, it was about the characters, and Lost has far and away the best characters of any show I've watched.
So your problem is that you don't understand the things you never watched? It was so hell bent on having twists it just fizzled. They can't be rescued but wait yes they can cause they can row off the island wait now they can't because the island moves, oh they got off I bet they'd all like to return to the island for some reason. I stopped watching because the show was lazy and sloppy, and used confusion to make people think it was smart. Good fantasy worlds (which lost is to a large degree) are only good if they have clearly defined rules of what is possible in the world the writers created. I'm happy for fantasy stories to be almost realistic and medieval like Game of Thrones, or entirely magical and not realistic like Harry Potter. The strength of writing comes from the fact that the rules of the universe are clearly defined so that the viewer or reader knows where they're at during the story. Getting halfway through and deciding you'd like to do something else so you just go **** it, they CAN escape the island now, or **** it, this is now a possibility - it isn't creative it's just lazy. Writing needs to be clear, it can't just be convulted and hide behind 'you didn't understand it so it must be clever'.So your problem is that you don't understand the things you never watched?
You can't just update the rules every time you have a new idea, and if you do it's clear you were making it up as you went. Which they were, then lost fans attack anyone who didn't understand it instead of addressing it's poorly written. Like at least Inception is consistent with it's pretend intelligence. So your problem is that you don't understand the things you never watched?
