Ex co-worker and friend of mine killed himself yesterday, found out this morning on facebook. Jumped in front of a train.

One of the nicest guys I've met and was my best friend at work, he moved on to a bigger and better job,very smart man.
Always smiling. Hadn't talked to him for a while though, he moved back to Bangladesh to work for a few years.

People wear this mask of happiness but you never know how sad they are.

I have found out it wasn't suicide, it was a terrible car accident which involved a train. He was part of a prominent Bangladesh family.

The media over their just basically lied in the articles. Scum.

I got offered it once. Didn't take it.

What sort of field are we talking about? It might help in a field with competitive recrutiment processes, just as a means to stick out a little bit more. Won't save you at an interview, but if the recruiters are wading through a big pile of applications, honours can be an excuse to chuck you in the 'yes' pile.
