RE Practice games at optus oval

i was just wondering if carlton get any money out of other clubs playing practice games at our ground.

I really enjoy the training reports keep them up they are awesome,
go the blues this year is the start of a decade of good times.

I go to the gym at Waverley Park and happened to watch the Hawthorn intra club match. Even though I love Optus to death their setup there is amazing. A simpe but effective idea was having a massive BBQ and Drinks for everyone during the game. It would have raised over 5 or 6 grand and maybe the blues can look to implement these little strategies now the Pratt is in charge. I'd be happy to cook! And for the record I thought the Carlton inta club was a much more attacking, direct style of football compared to the Hawks and I still maintain that we have a better spread of youngsters than they do. Bring on the NAB Cup.

I would imagine Carlton would charge other Melbourne teams, as Carlton have to pay for the upkeep of the ground, and keep it at a good level.
