I was just wondering if many Crows fans/members are also members of SANFL clubs and go to the SANFL games?

Do you think the Crows could include in their membership an addition for people to choose their SANFL club for membership and some money go back to the clubs in hope that more people will get back into local Footy as well.

Also, what is your favourite time slot for the Crows playing at AAMI? Do you prefer day matches or night matches?

Do you think the Crows could trial Sunday or Monday night games to become specialists of these and with the monday night games more people will attend local footy during the weekend?

I'll take this thread at face value and answer your questions although if you had done your research - you would realise that the basis for your questions is questionable.

The SANFL is flourishing atm. Over the last few years crowds have returned and many value their Saturday arvo at a local ground. The SANFL also schedules local rounds so as not to clash with AFL games where possible - particularly AFC games.

Sunday and Monday night AFL games are rubbish and I know our club and membership base will resist them fiercely.

Most here enjoy Saturday arvo or night games and those who work Saturdays prefer Sunday arvo.

As for AFL clubs pumping money back to the SANFL - they already do it in the form of dividends and financially most are doing ok.

I think some SANFL clubs have tried to do this with the Crows, but the AFC won't release their membership lists. Some SANFL clubs have done this with AAMI Stadium members with some success. It's a good idea.

Why would the SANFL not care about there own competition?

It's a general feeling that is given; the promotion of the competition is nowhere near what it could be; simple ideas that would cost little are not done; and now it appears they just don't care about the Mini League to promote to the kids, it just doesn't seem to me that they care much.

The cash cow is the Crows and Power; that's where the interest lies.
