Agreed. Has bucket loads of potential. He was great against us on the weekend too.
Kicked a goal and broke Podsiadly's nose without even trying. Obvious Port man.![]()
I missed the clash but did Lycett wind up with the free kick as well?

It's just his age that flags a noWould anyone be against getting Waite?? out of contract and a FA if we picked him up on say a 23 year deal it would give us a littl mre time o develop Shaw and Butcher/Harvey, itll cost us nothing and will give Schulzy some support up forward
It's just his age that flags a no
My worry would be 1 major injury at his age and he's toastI know he 30 but it;ll be a huge help up forward, I can tell hes still got a couple more years by the way he played on he weekend

Are there any fringe AFL KPF's we could be looking at? I don't follow the lists of other clubs too closelyAfter watching the Collingwood game again, we need someone and now . even for a couple years. Our forward line is done right SHIT! and shuffling of short people through there isnt and wont help. i was against waite... now id take him for a year or 2!
He is very athletic for a 30 year old too and he can catch and kick.I know he 30 but it;ll be a huge help up forward, I can tell hes still got a couple more years by the way he played on he weekend
Oh to find a Boyd,Cameron or Patton somewhere out there. Are there any fringe AFL KPF's we could be looking at? I don't follow the lists of other clubs too closely
Players who are keeping Jaksch from getting a game at GWSOh to find a Boyd,Cameron or Patton somewhere out there.

Yea there's that big old NO flag again, rightly soHe'll be 32 before the start of next season.

We don't need 32 year olds mate plain & simpleWe can get him for nothing, get him on a 2 year deal wit an option for a 3rd if he plays so many games?? we need someone and we need them now
Yep trade our first rounder for Lycett, with a swap of 3rd and 4th rounders in our favour.
edit: At this point if we somehow miss the finals our 2nd rounder could be enough (late 20's)
Shaw should be ready next year with another pre-season under his belt, we need to get a depth forward, as i said i don't follow the lists of other clubs too closely..... i'd like hear some folks with more knowledge as to who's a viable option.Well what/who do you suggest?
I rate him in the mid 20's. Maybe late 20's might be slight unders. Perhaps a swap of late picks in their favour could do it.Sorry , but wouldn't he cost a tiny little bit more , do we need to throw in a pie sweetener ? Or a third club to get this over the line --- firstly does he want too come our way ?
Well what/who do you suggest?
It is believed the Eagles are one of up to three clubs looking to secure 23-year-old Lowden, who showcased his considerable potential against the Eagles on debut earlier this year.
The 204cm ruckman has been targeted with West Coast looking to strengthen their ruck depth given Dean Cox will retire at the end of the season and emerging big man Scott Lycett is still yet to re-sign.
