Recruiting Targets Summary

Hate to lose O'Shea. If he can fix his tackling, added to his speed, fitness and intercept marking he is going to be a VERY good player.

I dont want the Bushranger to go anywhere unless it snags us an experienced KPF. As much as it hurts losing him, that would be the only scenario I would accept. I dont want to lose him to get a pick for the Ryder deal or just a pick to have a pick in the low 20's. He is about to hit his prime - will turn 23 next March and to me his in the best 22 so what's the point of giving him up just to get pick 21 which could be about 25 after the compo picks and then spend 3 or 4 years developing someone before they can produce his output.

Anyone else catch at ~8:49min on the NAB Trade Radio talk with Connors, they were discussing Ryder's chances of playing next year, Connors said there are no demands from Port on Ryder and then he goes on to say... "they've also got another umm uh"

I'm guessing he nearly let slip we're in talks of another player. I'd crossing off Lowden because it's already been reported by the media we're into him.

I think that was in relation to having another player involved in the ASADA investigation.

Yep well summed up i'd rather keep Cam over a pick in the 20's the one exception would be if we could snag a player like Day with it, even then it'll suck to part ways given how much upside is left in him.

Cam's a 60 game 22 year old ready made utility that is getting better every year, he's a part of our best 22 & a key player in our backline you don't trade him unless you're guaranteed to bring in a better player that fills a need.

Can should be going nowhere. Neither should Young, Jasper or many of these other top 25 players being bandied around. . If we can keep everyone we want and fill a specific need with a select deal (like Ryder for draft picks) then we've done well.

Jeremy Cameron stories will not go away. I had written them off as BS until I spoke to someone in the know. Stay tuned.....
If GWS stopped playing him in the backlines I reckon he wouldn't be so upset.

You gotta wonder if Kochie is wining and dining him? Not sure if a club official is allowed to do this, but if he is and he has, just another example of why having a President in Sydney is such a great move.

Starting 22 player + draft picks. What do you think he'd be worth?

I can live with that if we can get someone who will kick us 600 goals over 10-12 years.

Someone connected to Cameron or Port?

Cameron might be homesick, but I doubt Port would be able to put together a proper bid for him this year or that GWS would give him up.

Pick 16 + Moore + Late pick swaps in GWS's favour is what I'd offer for Cameron.
Only reason I wouldn't do that for Ryder is because of the possible suspension.

did lol.

Cameron is ungetable and would require a Carlile/Trengove/Hombsch to be traded. a first rounder, fringe player and pick swaps is closer to what Ryder is worth than Cameron. Cameron is a whole another level.
