Trav, Egan, Iaccabucci have been tried already. Davies off the rookie list too, as well as Fanning. Rusling has major raps. Do we reckon the recruiting staff have finally got something to write home about?

Outstanding; whatever they were drinking, we'll have another round like that thanks. But the coach tells them what to look for each year too. So great MM has played this year's lot. Now to build a list for fast attacking football. Previous drafts seemed more defensive and building talls.

Compared to the last 2 years we are light years in front but its early days. At least we can go into the next draft with some confidence we won't waste a year on duds.

I think Collingwood have recruited some great new/young players that will lead Collingwood in the near future when the current leadership group of Collingwood step down. I would like to see Travis Cloke as a captain of Collingwood one day. And Yakkabucci as a Vice-Captain

Judkins took leave for illness, and Hine oversaw the whole draft process.

Hine is the difference this year.

Realistically the only difference is that hine picked up a good prospect with the first round selection, if you look at judkins selections, only the 1st rounders have been un-acceptable, in 2 years we took 3 father son selections under his guidence, 1 1st rounder who doesnt look up to it, 1 who has done some good things but has been pretty poor, but he has found gold late in the draft, players such as rowe and bj.

I think that are recruiting was just awesome...in years to come i can see trav at chf, ruzza at ff, egan running wild on the wings kicking freak goals and davies and iiacobucci staring in the midfield. I went to taring today and thought that heath shaw was very impressive and can't be too far off getting a game in seniors..

2004 - Chris Egan, Sean Rusling, Travis Cloke, Adam Iacobucci
2004 Recruits - Chad Morrison, Blake Caracella

Impressive. Just need more from Egan and Iacobucci and we have a good thing. Trav and Ruz look like long time Collingwood players while Caracella and Morrison adds experience in different areas of the game. Julian Rowe was a good late pick and is clever.
