It was even harder to kill one with a stick of dynamite! I think you had to do that for the 'expert hunter' outfit.

Or if you rolled as they attacked then you could knife them in the arse! Bears took a bit more softening up but you could use trees to break up their attack runs.

You get three guns unlocked at gunsmiths and a horse of some kind with realistic testicles. It might be grouse but I never go for these pre-order things.

Maybe I'm remembering it wrong but couldn't you just shoot them a couple of times and get the last swipe in with the knife? I just remember it being easy for some reason.
