First Red Dead was amazing, it still is an amazing game despite the dated graphics compared to today's game, if you can look past that then its definitely worth a play through. It's not essential to have played it though but it makes RDR2 better knowing people that you deal with in the first one.

The original is an absolute masterpiece. I highly recommend

It's absolutely brutal when you sneak up to one of those small camps with the pump or double pump and just start laying into them while they sleep

My wife asked if I’d played enough after a 2 hour session Sunday then an hour after work today

My brother is 15 years younger than me and still home, has played 52 hours since Friday lazy lucky bastard

Played for about 2.5-3 hours now and I'm unfortunately finding it to be pretty dull and not especially engaging. Tried to have a lengthy session this evening but found myself bored after 15 minutes and switched it off...

I don't think it'll be fun using no camera and trying to find an optimized control scheme on that button layout.
