Red light camera questions

OK, I'm a bit worried as I have seen a red light camera in my area flash twice in the pask week as I went through it.

The first time, I was turning right with a green arrow. So I enter the intersection, but I then saw two firetrucks with sirens on zooming in from the right, so obviously I had to stop. When they had passed the arrow had gone red, so I reversed back and then went again when the arrow went green. The flash went off as I completed my turn.

The second time I was turning right again and went through an amber light, it went red as I was completing the turn and again I got flashed.

Not too happy - does the RLC flashing mean ur up shit creek regardless??????

The only way the camera will take the picture is if you entered the intersection after the light had turned red. Pretty simple.

some are equipped with a red light camera and a speed camera, so two options-

went through 3 seconds after red light on
went through speeding

simple.

some of the older cameras will just do you, regardless of when you entered the intersection
