I brought this up earlier in the year for some unkown reason everytime we play in this red clash strip we play like absolute crap I have no idea why we just do Perhaps they're tighter and cutting of the blood circulation to the brain that cause all the skill error they have when playing in this strip!

I hate them, I think a first year design student could do a better job of designing a jumper. It reminds me of the gay pride flag for some reason.

While realistically we can't really say the red jumpers affect our performance, you do have to ask as to why the AFL decided that we have to wear the red.

This is particulalry stupid when you consider that Hawthorn has never been required to wear an away strip when playing the Crows at home. So what is the difference when we play away??? Last time we played them it was heritage round and Hawks and Crows strips were basically the same as their normal ones.

I am all for alternative strips, but there was just no need for this. I mean if the AFL was so concerned about it looking bad on television or at the ground then ....

I think this should be our new Clash/Away Jumper. I modified the home jumper by swapping the red and the blue around. Looks nice, dosent it?. Its used with white shorts.

A real RED Crows uniform. Hopefully AFC will see this and like this, perhaps I should send an email to the AFC with this picture in it.

As soon as I saw the players warming up in red in the rooms I wrote off our season. But when we were 31 points up I was thinking WTF?, at halftime when it was 12 points I wrote off our season. Second quarter cost us dearly and I've seen this before. Playing at Telstra Dome with the red uniforms, we did win one of the four games. Our record in the red uniforms, 2 wins and 7 losses. In games decided by less than a goal that record is 1 win and 6 losses.

The Uniforms up till 2005 were just fine.

Also try it with the yellow instead of the red, and post it. That way its similar to the yellow heritage uniform they wore in 05, would look awesome. Then possibly email them both to the AFC.

There was a photo posted on here a few months ago of a new jumper. It's similar to the old pre-season jumper. I believe that will be replacing the current away and clash jumpers next year.

I like this guernsey, it looks good. Definately looks a lot better than the one we wore yesterday. Hope you do send this to the afc.

Has anyone ever actually bought one of the Red ones...I have never seen them in shops or seen anyone wear one...the real purpose of the clash guernseys is to sell merchandise...

A yellow one would be good, but would cop a lot of shit if lost..the "AFC" heritage one wasnt bad.

The other guernsey designed here looks very good...Still simliar to our traditional guernsey but different...

That was the idea I had a while ago, with the yellow one. I did a mock-up ages ago, before I got Mero's new template:

Replacing the away one already? I like our current away one, looks classy. The red one on the other hand....too red. We shouldn't have been wearing it against Hawthorn in the first place. They weren't listed as a team we clashed with at the start of the season.

We don't have a choice on what we wear. The AFL makes that decision for us and other teams. They picked us to wear red yesterday
