I suppose one of the more annoying things to happen this innings is unlike when SA bowled the conditions and the pitch really hasn’t played a part in any dismissal of SA’s top 5 batters.

And again another short ball gloved down the leg side… self-sabotage really throwing away the advantage here.
But the balls they faced in the lead up were swinging and moving around off the pitch, they were batting in far tougher conditions for batters than SA have had.
Looks like they were right to select the extra batting with Manenti now…
