Very disappointing batting display so far by our boys. Some horrid shots to get out by the last few batsmenAny lead is a good lead at this point
For the batting side of things it’s very lucky Sir Garfield Manenti has turned up today. He has been our most reliable batsman for a number of years. Deserved the final.

Specialist No 8 batter isn't really a positionHe has been our most reliable batsman for a number of years. Deserved the final.
We're up by 60, lighten upVery disappointing batting display so far by our boys. Some horrid shots to get out by the last few batsmen
If you’re a Queenslander wonder what you’re really thinking of Labuschagne bowling himself over Neser in this current situation?
So you weren’t disappointed by how numerous batsmen got out with soft dismissals? Nothing to see here? We're up by 60, lighten up
That’s the exact point. The game shouldn’t be even in question after rolling them for 95 on a wicket that did quite a bit this morningIf Carey and Lehmann would’ve been still there at stumps I think the match would be all but over. After that bowling performance the door shouldn’t be but it is still somehow slightly ajar.
Manenti super late in the day, shouldn’t have been needed but those sort of rescue act innings are what puts you in a position to at least not lose a Shield Final. Him, Lehmann and McAndrew probably still need to put on another 100 tomorrow as you can’t imagine Queensland will bat as poorly on a flattening pitch as they did today.
It happens, some of Queensland's biggest names did the same thing. So you weren’t disappointed by how numerous batsmen got out with soft dismissals? Nothing to see here?
Settle downIll take a 60 run lead.
Yeah we could've batted better but the pressure of finals does funny things. It certainly shows up the bipolar nature of the South Australian sports fan .....
Any lead over 100 will be like gold if we can manage it. We have the best bowling attack in the comp who barely raised a sweat today.
And a young lad steaming in at 140 odd kph is easy to face is it ??That’s the exact point. The game shouldn’t be even in question after rolling them for 95 on a wicket that did quite a bit this morning
No, it's ridiculousSettle down
Hmm I definitely wouldn’t go that far as I’m an unashamed Marnus backer but do believe he’s now in a spot where he needs to go back and tear down his game and build it totally back up again and that also includes reeducating himself on how to handle situations on a cricket field.Sooner this campaigner is out of Australian cricket the better.
Arguably he cost them a chance at a first innings leadHmm I definitely wouldn’t go that far as I’m an unashamed Marnus backer but do believe he’s now in a spot where he needs to go back and tear down his game and build it totally back up again and that also includes reeducate himself on how to handle situations on a cricket field.
If we manage to **** it up these soft dismissals will be a significant part of that. No, it's ridiculous
Yeah you're super calm.If we manage to **** it up these soft dismissals will be a significant part of that.
Now I am calm and not upset and certainly not bipolar - so stop throwing out mental health taunts - but stating an inarguable fact. We have given them a sniff with a number of soft dismissals.

As Marnus has a habit of doing he got delusions of grandeur off the back of his bowling in the last match where circumstances dictated the SA batters didn’t fully attack him. Swepson only being given 1 over and turning them square probably another lucky break and poor captaincy decision.Arguably he cost them a chance at a first innings lead
How so ??He's the definition of 'w***er'.
How so ??
He's got some interesting habits on the cricket field, but that doesn't make him a w***er.You serious?
