deplorable.

Berry must be wondering what position he has got himself into.

Good to Darren Berry ask to SACA board to change the district competition*. Its the annual thing for red back coaches to do but the SACA board never do anything.

* changes are needed to increase the competetivesness of players spots in the district competition. Decrease the amount if teams to improve the standard.

The second the Fergs did the interview after a couple of one day wins saying that we had turned the corner and were on our way, I knew things would turn to shit.

It appeared to me that the boys were getting a little ahead of themselves as it was still October and call me a bluff old traditionalist but they aren't handing out the trophies late October. If memory serves me correct they do that late feb/early March...I can't remember it has been to long.

Another comprehensive outright defeat by the Redbacks, headlined by a grand total of 9 wickets for for the match - 3 of which fell when Queensland were going for the tonk. Meanwhile the Bulls continue their outstanding start under the man we overlooked as coach .

If Boof's heralded "good bloke test" was implemented here, how would they go???

Not saying Boof's not a great coach - he obviously is - but I think we've got bigger systemic problems here than QLD cricket, like the aforementioned annual request for grade club culling. Something's been rotten in the state of Denmark for a long time, and no one with the power to do something seems to want to.

Hey, at least we buggered off Harris and Cosgrove, what have they ever done!

SA had nothing to lose today (except of course the game). Qld had already bolted ahead on the ladder, possibly giving Qld the game as we went for quick runs and a declaration was something we had to do, we need wins, already had enough draws. Had to go for win, worse case was we lose and the top team that no one is gonna catch on points gets the points.

If we hadn't have had so many draws already and were playing a team closer to us on the ladder (and didn't want to risk giving them an outright) we would have easily held on for a draw.

Glad we went for it.

All out for 93. Hogan is fast becoming Embley-esque in his repeated domination of an SA side. Pathetic :thumbsd:

Port, Adelaide United, the 36ers and the Redbacks...SA sport is in a bad place right about now. :(

All out 93!

Still quite a bit of play today? I think WA will overtake us by stumps.

anyone know pitch conditions? if its not a bad deck, theres no excuse.

The worrying thing about the guys I've bolded is that they arent 18 or 19. they are well into their 20's and have only just cracked it into the least competitive team in domestic cricket. Is the district cricket scene that poor over there?
