that 95/96 win was the last final SA have played in, yeah?
so if we win - we still need one of QLD and Vic to lose?
bloody confusing, Vics making a comeback, looks like they will get the required bonus points if the current pair keep on going

Condition #1
The non-negotiable that must occur in order for the Redbacks to make the final is that they claim an outright win against Tasmania at Gliderol stadium.
Anything less will result in curtains for Jamie Siddons’ men and their 2015/16 campaign.
Condition #2
Secondly, of the top three teams (Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland), the Redbacks can only afford ONE team to secure an outright win.
With Victoria and New South Wales facing off in the final round, this will only be possible if Queensland beats Western Australia and there is a result between the Blues and Bushrangers.
However if the Bulls get over the top of the Warriors and either the Blues or Bushrangers secure a win, the Redbacks-Tigers result will become irrelevant.
Condition #3
Incredibly, with the top three teams just one win ahead of the Redbacks, it’s still possible for SA to leapfrog into top spot and host a Shield final should they win convincingly enough against Tasmania and have other results go their way.
Such a situation would require a draw between Victoria and New South Wales, and for Queensland to record either a draw or a loss against Western Australia.
Finally, the Redbacks would need to secure at least three bonus points by either scoring at least 399 runs inside the first hundred overs of their first innings, as well as taking nine wickets with the ball (or a combination thereof) on their way to an outright win.
It’s a complicated system with more hypotheticals than you can poke a stick at, but in summary, the Redbacks would have to win big and rely on a hefty chunk of luck in order to finish the season as the minor premiers.
WA are doing their bit in that regard.Wow so we should be hoping for the draw. And a WA win.
