SA have 49.63 points - this cannot change.

Qld need to win to gain enough points to jump us - even with a maximum of 1.5 points for wickets & 1 for a draw, they'd then have 48.16 points. So if Qld win, they would have one of 52.16, 52.66 or 53.16.

So WA winning would eliminate them.

If Qld won, then the NSW/VIC game becomes live - the outright winner would play off.
If that game is a draw, then Vic is the only team that could jump (NSW can only get to max 47.57 with a draw)

Vic has 47.62 points right now. If they received a point for a draw, they'd have 48.62 points. To jump SA with batting bonus points, they would need to reach 302 within their 100 overs. If they get 300 or less, they cannot catch us.

If they scored exactly 301, they would be equal on points. The tiebreaker here I don't know, but I will gather that Vic having 5 wins & 2 draws would trump our 5 wins & 0 draws.

Vic are currently scoring at 2.38 per over. They need to lift in the next 61 overs to get over 300.

Need to get Sayers back on. Opie isnt good enough. For a shield final, if we make it, we are going to have some seriously average players playing.
Cosgrove, Raphael, Weatherald, Opie, Carey.. all havent really peformed to a par standard. Carey is still better than Ludeman.

speaking of chokes, tas now 3/100ish, and WA starting to collapse against QLD

We can still make it with a Bulls win, if the Vic/Nsw game is drawn (and Vic score <301, which is likely now)

We need to be chasing under 150 to win IMO. That requires Tassie to make 400odd

Choking... ffs
Dont know about that. Its just a flat grade wicket, always has been. The little bit of juice that was in it was wasted when Tassie decided to bat first and fail.

They have a long way to go to make a game of it.

the game was in the bag the moment we bowled them out for under 100. Glenelg is a reasonably flat surface, Tassie didn't capitalise on it

Vic, while 5 down, are batting at 3.05 p/over. That would give them the home final in a drawn game by 5 runs if they kept that for the next 50 overs. (if we & Qld win)
