Brilliant win after the position at tea yesterday where Tassie looked to be cruising to a 300+ run lead, only for Manenti to turn that game in the last session. Liam Scott and Manenti both superb with the bat today and really attacked Webster especially to good effect.

We might end up winning but this has been a dreadful effort from the batsmen. I thought we'd turned the corner with our consistency last season but have slid back into familiar territory.

Plenty in the pitch all match for the bowlers and was full of momentum swings (constant rain delays didn't help out batting yesterday either). Great win. Only way to score was to attack and we just did that better in the end (deep batting lineup helped too).

Sangha really the only batsman without a score this year yet, but he only hit his peak form post BBL last year so hopefully we get a repeat of that again.

Well, I don't really count the 1st innings as he wasn't near the ball, but was a bit disappointing today.

He will be fine, way too much made of his white ball form which has never mattered for his Test batting. Will destroy the Poms again and have them flying over a new spinner by the 4th Test after Jacks and Bashir get carted around.

I’d have liked to have bowled on that pitch. The one that does just enough is dangerous as **** in cricket. Just holds up, just seams a bit, doesn’t bounce to high, just enough to make sure it gets the edge.
