Redden vs Sloane vs Blease

Just to clarify, it's Jack Redden (Brisbane), Rory Sloane(Adelaide) and Sam Blease(Melbourne). All 3 were taken in the 2008 AFL draft and have done well at their respective clubs.

Went with SLoane as he has been great this year. Redden not far behind, also had a super year. Blease has potential and is starting 2 years behind after breaking his leg.

Blease? He's been good but nowhere near the standard of the other two.

Sloane slightly ahead of Redden IMO, both are statistically very similar but I reckon Sloane is more impactful with the ball than Redden is.

Sloane and redden are pretty level for me. Both have huge upside and can break a game apart but also can have quiet ones. Both pretty young.
Sloane is my favourite player though but I wouldnt have him ahead of redden just yet necessarily I think they are about on par

Although I am an avid fan of Rory and love his endeavour in our team, but I have always liked the way Redden goes about his stuff! If I had a choice between the two, I'd go with Redden... As he would fit into the dynamics of the Crows midfield due to his tackling prowess. That is not to say Rory doesn't tackle, he does, but Redden has that blue-collar style about him that I feel is vital to any midfield engine room.

My two cents anyway, and I love having Rory at my team!

Sloane probably more prolific at the moment playing in a finals team and in a well-oiled crows midfield, also seems to find the goals more than Redden, however Redden is a tackling machine who can rack up the effective disposals and should become more of a household name as Brisbane (hopefully) rise up the ladder. I love Redden at Brisbane and wouldn't trade him in a second but they both are/will be exciting players.

The only thing that Sloane has on Redden at this stage is goals, hopefully that comes with the improvement of the side.
