Interesting looking game. Reminds me of Fortnite Save the World, which I loved, minus the building. I'll keep an eye on this one. Arkane Studios have a great track record.

Really surprised how much hate the game seems to be getting.

Currently that new trailer has 4k likes vs 2.5k dislikes.

From Arkane who are usually pretty solid. The makers of Prey and Dishonored which were great games.

I'm keen.

I liked the gameplay I saw, and with it being co-op can see it being a fun game to play.

A lot of people are saying this now but I thought this game looked way better this time around compared to it's first reveal. It doesn't look as contained as I thought it would be and no doubt this is the game Back 4 Blood should have been.

So I went to Sydney last week and played 90 minutes of Redfall. Got a much clearer picture of what it is and I came away hotter on it than what I was going in. Still very much a story-driven game with Arkane's flavour but it does have a Far Cry-esque open world. Preview below

The thing with Arkane is they are pretty bad at hyping their games - their trailers give you a "meh" impression. Marketing just isn't their strong suit.

But once you actually play their games, they are usually very good.

I'm sorry but by now 60fps is not a feature, it should be standard. "Quality" modes should be the feature. If optimisation isn't front and centre from the moment the GDD is printed then it's time for new developers.

i was actually looking at this last night as our group is looking for a new co-op game then saw it's $120 AUD on Steam WTF. I'll give ya $79.99 if it's decent campaigners
