Now that I have erased the Carlton game from my memory, I thought it would be a good time to bring up that Reece is due to play his 50th AFL game against GWS.

He may not be the most skilful player, but he puts his head over the ball, goes when he has to, and leaves nothing on the footy field. His first 50 games have shown he has the ability to become a very good AFL player, so here's hoping the next 50 are as good as his first 50 (preferably even better :D).

Reece was okay today, not flawless but not inept either IMO:thumbsu: Put in some good defensive pressure at times to:thumbsu:

He isn't going to be the flashy player like Jack or Dusty, Cotch or Lids where you don't know what you are going to get on a week to week basis. Reece seems to be cut from the same jib as Steve Morris in that you know EXACTLY what you are getting, week in, week out.

Disposal is way too enigmatic at this stage. Needs to be more conistent. At the moment he's just a successor to Tuck -i.e. a ball winner who bangs it forward - we need him to be more than just that.

he makes better decisions than most at times though. I anticipate he will improve, good pick up, but I am not creaming like David King atm!!:D

I think he's got more class than some of us give him, I don't see him as only a blue collar ball winner.

Thought he was just building into what was gonna be a pretty solid season just before he got injured; timing is certainly everything in footy. Took him a week or two to get back to the pace of AFL.

Pretty good first 50, but I'd LOVE to hear him have a big pre-season and really get himself ready for what should be a big year for us. Will be an important player going ahead - kick on Reecy! :thumbsu:

Before he got injured his kicking was elite.

He hasn't gotten back to his pre-injury form but he's been more than handy. Here's hoping he sticks around.

Before his injury the issue with Reece's kickign wasn't accuracy but penetration. He's usually a pretty good kick, but seems to have lost it a bit with his injury. Hopefully will have a godo pre season and get that accuracy back. Can become A grade. But I'd be happy with B+ tough inside/outside player.

Congrats to Reecy, my favourite player alongside Cotchin and Vlastuin, so sad though that he's constantly had foot issues since being drafted, I have a feeling that it's affected his disposal some what, regardless, will be a beauty of a player and has a long AFL future ahead of him.

Great work Conca! Always rated him since I saw his debut in the nab cup a few years ago. Good decision maker, composed and isn't afraid to do the hard stuff.

Let's hope the fella marks his 50th game with a lazy 50 disposals :thumbsu:

P.S Still rate him higher than the princess Heppell :D

Congratulations Reece ! Always had time for Conc's, The only way is up for Reece as his body finishes developing and he continues to fill out :thumbsu:

He is no where near the just slam it on the boot style player like tucky imo. In fact he is the opposite in that he tries to chew too much off sometimes.

Dan Richardson just stated on 3aw that Reece has declared his interest in staying at the club and that he is happy where he is.

Also said that the dusty and Reece are in similar boats in terms of discussions of contract.
