Reef = Rising Star 2023 (still eligible)
23 wont win, but a nomination at least makes them feel good to get some recogition for hard work.Won't Win it but good enough to get a Nomination for it
Ash had no impact today. Clearly his fitness is an issue, stops him from moving from contest to contest.. and now, its looking like Reef is ahead of him in the pecking order.
I did warn people this could happen but nobody believed me.

Our of contract, you're right on that aspect.I believed you. I actually think ash is in danger of being delisted this year. Unless of course he is contracted which i have no clue about.

People forget, he’s less than a month older than Daicos.Reef has to be taken to Tassie next week.

Crazy to think he was drafted in 2020 and still eligible. Its because his age, got blessed to be a december baby.

Reef does theoretically offer a bit more balance with his speed and groundwork. Interesting dilemmaOnly negative for me was that AJ is going to struggle to get a game. McStay, Mihocek, Reef could be a pretty good combo.
He was impressive. I wasn't expecting him to play as tall as he did.Reef does theoretically offer a bit more balance with his speed and groundwork. Interesting dilemma
I'm pretty sure he tried to jump over the top of someone in last years hawks game and tried to spoil the ball when he did his shoulder. But he looks stronger now, so lets hope that puts him in a good position.Good news he’s started the season off well. People seem to have written him off pretty quickly despite being in our best 22 before he got injured.
(Hopefully he has learned some better tackling techniques… a poorly thought out and executed one armed tackle caused his shoulder injury that ended his season).
As for AJ, I don’t see any reason why he’d be in consideration for a while now. Back to the seconds to rebuild his fitness and form, and let’s see how he goes in the second half of the season.

Similar to DeGoey previously we need to find a way to get senior games into McInnes while he builds a tank. If it’s a choice between McInnes and Johnson I’m picking the former due to his midfield potential.Reef does theoretically offer a bit more balance with his speed and groundwork. Interesting dilemma
He's had a couple injuries, so one of them might have been a result of a tackle. But fingers crossed he can stay injury free.Ok my memory playing tricks on me. Could have sworn it happened trying to lay a tackle. Maybe that was a different incident, but I do recall him going off injured after it.

I thought Ash wouldn’t end up as valuable as Henry. Henry showed he could be a match winner. I’m not sure what will happen to Ash if he doesn’t get some fire in the belly.
He’s contracted till the end of 2024, so no, it won’t be.Agree hell need to fire up this year or it could be curtains for him at the pies
The fact you couldn’t see ‘it’ with Josh, should probably tell you something when you don’t see ‘it’ with Reef either.I don’t see it in Reef, I hope I’m wrong but tbh I don’t see what everyone else does. There’s a lot of hoping from the supporters that he’ll be good and I think that hope has clouded perceptions of actual form.
I’m hoping for an injury free year and for him to show us the goods. I’m hoping he’s like Josh Daicos in the fact it took Josh a few years to show his true form, I was ready to delist him then he came good. Hopefully Reef can do the same.

Referring to ash, then its correct. He's only contracted until end of this year. He’s contracted till the end of 2024, so no, it won’t be.
IMO, you don't let talent like AJ go, hope the club is right behind him regarding his fitness and development.Agree hell need to fire up this year or it could be curtains for him at the pies
You’re*Your wrong
You’re*
And yes, I thought you were referring to Reef for some reason.
