Ever had a friend who was hurt & then you hurt too because you think they don't deserve to hurt like that and be made to feel like they do...

To the point where it eats you up and all you want to do it help, but you can't, so you start to feel like you want to run to the top of the mountain, yell your lungs out in the hope that you'll feel better, but you don't because you know that it wont fix anything??

Then you realise that the best thing you can do is just be there for that person...

It still burns me up

No. I'm quite lucky because as a male I'm emotionally dead:D

P.S. If this is a serious thread, i hope your friend gets better.

Yes. It hurts, and you can feel guilt ridden when all you want to do is help. It is even worse when that person won't let you help.

Hope your friend is alright.

Same happened with me last night, an incident with a friend which made me hurt nearly as much as it hurt my friend (although only a minor thing) :(

It is even worse when that person won't let you help.

Luckily, this is not the case, just me wanting to do more than I am doing...

i know the feeling
In 2000 I spent HEAPS of the year trying to help my best friend through MAJOR! depression(tried suicide twice, once when i took him somewhere to cheer him up:rolleyes: )
At first he wouldn't let me, but finally i was able to help him, now he is as happy as larry and has a great life
It all stemmed from his father BLOODY MOLESTERORS(sp?)
Luckily he is in Jail for a LONG time;)
