There's a problem in this league that standards never rise if we don't make crap, badly run sides face a punishment for their ineptitude.

I suggest that the sides that finish bottom of the Test & One Day ladder are 'relegated' out of that comp for next season.

In the Tests the bottom placed side have shamefully only won 2 games, it makes a mockery of the comp, they serve no purpose.

Let's raise standards.

Kick them out.

Good point Dipper. You might as well kick out those teams who have limited posters and are doing pretty badly in the overall scheme of things. But lets say, hypothetically of course (;)), the Allies get relegated one season after a dismal effort all year around. Are they allowed to come back then in 2 seasons time?

Will we see the creation of a 2nd Division as a result of this then?

If there was another couple of teams interested, no reason we couldnt do 2 divisions with sides being in Div 1 of the tests and division 2 of the one dayers, would make for a more interesting comp as we are 8 rounds out and already some teams seasons are over as happens in large competitions
 
I don't think it is a good idea as all players would want to be a part of a div 1 side, especially as they would have to wait 1 whole year to get promoted.
I think we need more posting players to have competition in teams, then someone may not get a game in a div 1 side so they look back to div 2.
I think that's the only way it would work.

Thats why we can have the comps so you can play Division 1 in Tests but could be in Division 2 for One dayers such as KCC and WSC so you effectively play in both divisions

Yeah ok, have you thought about introducing a salary cap with points?
A certain amount of bonus points per team should be allowed.
If a player is playing at the club he debuted at, he should be given a deduction of 1 bonus point so it would encourage not just getting the best players from other clubs.
Just an idea, would take a lot of work.
Sorry Dipper it's not that bad an idea to have 2 div's, as long as players don't mind playing in div 2 which i think will be the only problem.
 
Clubs could be stuck in Division 2 for a while which would lead to a lot of people leaving their clubs and going into Division 1 clubs, I don't think that would benefit the competition to have clubs with no posters in division 2.

I may have been a touch too subtle here, I'm not in favour of relegation this thread was just an excuse to highlight how crap DE are, without doubt the worst Test side in the history of the competition.

A blind ******ed monkey could have won more games than that lot.

They're still dining out on beating the Allies in a one dayer despite the fact that we're still above them in their prefered format of the game.

I don't think so much that Dipper is a bigot, rather he just wants to get rid of a useless team with posters that post once every blue moon ...

Why have a team like DE in the comp when a new team can be established with one of the highest amount of active players in the comp (see the Southern Sharks)?
 
what about this the teams the come in the bottom 3 at the end of season are booted for 3 new teams

here is wat i mean
Example
test
1`KCC.
2, WIM
3, VIC

15, WSC
16, ALL
17, QLD

those 3 would be kicked out of the test

same this with the one dayers
if u come in the bottomm 3 u are kicked out of that comp

then the 3 new teams replace u in that comp
