... Goldeneye… many, many, many hours of stoned Goldeneye. 4 player multiplayer in 'Stack', timed mines and one shot one kill!

This!!!! Though, we tended to use proximity mines and if anyone picked OddJob they would receive multiple punches in the arm because no one could shoot that small as prick!

Speaking of urinating there were no bloody portaloos set up around the Thames for these fireworks and the crowd was just so ridiculous you could barely move, we ended up just pissing in the street much to the horror of women and children there. The old Bobbies there didn't give a shit though, unlike the w***er cops here that probably would have arrested us and given us a bashing for our troubles.

Shit night but memorable for all the wrong reasons. Some of my housemates went up to Scotland for Hogmanay and had a cracking night, I didn't have the money to go though.

BDB played here in Perth around that time and apparently he was shithouse then too. Never had much time for him myself, he was the darling of the UK music press back then for some unknown reason.

Didn't mind David Gray even though I got sick of hearing Babylon played ad nauseum.

Only remember bits and pieces of the 90s- such as Pokemon cards and everyone going on about the Millenium Bug. I have minor memories of the hearing about the Hong Kong transfer.

For some reason I associate watching the original Star Wars movie with "Don't Cry for me Argentina". Though my old man used to play Andrew Lloyd Webber songs all the time at home.

Also remember Rockingham not being part of Perth.

Was a 1991 baby and I remember 1999 New Years Eve fondly. It was the first time I remember getting wasted after my parents let me drink some cheap champers. Even though I was only 8 it was one of the best nights I have ever had. My whole family was there down at the beach just getting wasted and having a great time, last time I can remember everyone in my family getting along together, talking and enjoying each others company.

Now all my senior relatives are fighting over inheritances, blaming each other for misfortunes etc half of my cousins are addicted to weed/ice with mental health issues at the ages of 16... just a shit storm now
