i remember in 97' or 98' i use to put it on most days.
until they stopped giving a **** about playing music anymore and they got talentless dickfaces to host their pissy one hour live show thats not even live anymore.

Sorry Fwoy, but since 2001(I never saw V before then (which was really a blessing when I consider...)) Ive never seen anything worthwhile on V... Actually strike my bracketted speech impediment.. From late 1998 there's been nothing good on V, or its equivelent.

V Rots your teeth and gives you brain damage.

How do you know if you never saw it until 2001?

I had pay TV for a while back in '97 (was pretty young) and remember seeing artists like No Doubt, The Wannadies (You and Me Song), Cake, Daft Punk, Hanson, The Prodigy, Silverchair, Ammonia on there. (I recently found a VHS of stuff that was taped off the channel, good memories :thumbsu:)

I think it could be that the standard of pop music has gone down, rather than it being V's fault.

I first got Foxtel when AFL started on it (moving over from Optus) some time mid-late ninties from memory. The one and only show worth watching was The Joint, but that alone made V good. Live performances by good bands. :thumbsu:

Much like Triple J, they moved in a direction my tastes don't follow. Still dream for the days of MTV2 or whatever it is that has decent clips and no egos taking over...why can't Rage go all week? :(
