Quite possibly so, I was pretty young at the time.

All I can remember is going to the local footy and seeing the ball sail miles over the boundary line on the full and it being thrown back in. :D

I also remember the central umpire calling for a bounce and bouncing it before you could blink an eye - unlike these days. ;)
