Surfing for pr0n stuffed my computer. I now have viruses and crap that I don't know how to get rid of, and I keep on getting pop-ups, telling me to buy their product to fix "critical errors."
pr0n aside, I did a thread a year or so ago, about our results in "less than a goal" games, and we were something like 4 losses (in the H&A) from 36 matches decided by less than a kick.
As for one-pointers, (and this is all from memory) we beat Carlton by a point in 1994 and 1998. We beat Richmond by a point in a crap game in 2002. We Beat Freo by a point in 1996 at the 'G. We beat Melbourne by a point in the comeback game in '92. So that's 5 off the top of my head (in recent history)
We lost to Carlton in '99, Sydney in '96, Brisbane in '96 (all finals) and Sydney again in 1997 at the SCG by a point. And of course Hawthorn on Sunday. So that's 5-5, if my calculations are correct.

I made it after we beat the Eagles by a goal in 2004 in the "Hird" game. We won a final against Melbourne in 2004 by 5 points. We lost to Carlton in round 2 last year by a couple of points, and Hawthorn on Sunday. And we also won a game by less than a goal against the Hawks last year.

Losing 6 out of 38 games in Home and Away football (when, by rights, it should be 50-50) is pretty amazing. Betcha any money we will start losing a few now. We are "owed" a few by the footy Gods and it's already starting to go against us.
I know we've had a good run, so you won't hear any complaints from me, when they inevitably go against us.
