Have people been informed about their reserved seating allocation for 2011? I believe yesterday was the day notice was to be sent.
 
No I havn't, but having said that I didn't apply for any.

I hope I've been of some assistance Spicey.
 
I got an email over a week ago stating that I would be notified one week b4 season starts....so two more weeks I figure...:mad:

But honestly I'm not expecting to know where my seat is until I get my membership card. Whether that is fair or even considered good practice is an argument for another time

I got my membership at the beginning of the year with my reserved seating allocated, although i requested the same seats as last year.

I got an email saying that my Level 2 request was denied. If that means that I lose the seats on Level 2 for home games that I already had and that I requested stay the same, I will be really annoyed.
 
Got my allocation (same as the last 3 years) with my card a month ago.

When I called a few weeks back they said m/ship cards were being held back while seat allocation was being sorted.

They then sent me my card without any corresponding info on seat allocation, which made me think they had forgotten about it, but when I called they said my name was in the allocation queue.

The next date I was made aware of in terms of seat allocation was Tuesday, but that came and went with no info, so I'm going to e-mail again.
 
As my son and I upgraded from Captains to Legends towards the end of H&A last year we have maintained our home game level-2 seating at MCG as in previous seasons and are sitting in Q31 for away games at MCG. Cards arrived about a week ago. We are on the wai list for level-2 for the away games.
 
The reserve seating for members who just want a reserved seat on a casual basis, was supposed to have opened up on March 1st. I am coming from WA for the Carlton game and wanted to get two reserve seats. Members are supposed to be able to get seats a week earlier than the general public who get access next week. Ticketmaster seems to recognise the extra week but Ticketek says March 8th for members and general public. I know most of you guys get the season reserve seats but I wondering if anyone had tried to get a reserve seat this week for a particular game....
 
For those that are like me, I'm an AFL Silver Member with Collingwood membership and I've paid extra for the 6 games on offer for reserved seating. My seats have been allocated and confirmed but apparently won't get the additonal card needed till mid-March they reckon. The 1st game I can use it aint till Round 3 vs the Blues so aren't worry at this stage.

But it's a pretty poor effort and simply unfair by whomever (ie company ... whether it be Collingwood or outsoucer) that is in charge of organising this stuff to make people wait so long and be anxious by it all. I really feel for those that have no confirmation whatsoever. :mad:
 
Got my card today, and I got to keep my Level 2 seats for home games which was what I wanted. Now I just have to wait until I get to the top of the Level 2 waiting list for away games.

At least I don't have to sit one row behind the cheersquad at away games this year.
 
Anyone been successful on the level 2 waiting list. Just applied this year but was hoping to get an idea on how long it takes.

Had my membership and seats since mid Dec. I guess no change helps. level 2 Olympic stand between wing and 50m arc is awesome. Same section as players and their families.
 
Well had a call from the club this am 'offering me a seat upgrade for our homegames at ETIHAD' all for the measly sum of $60....WTF I've paid $795 for my Legends membership and they try to gouge some more $$. I declined. I know that 3rd deck at E ain't great but I just can't keep paying more. BTW my away seats would stay the same!:thumbsd:
 
The club replied to my email. Apparently I'm still to be allocated for Etihad away games, but I've been allocated for everything else, and I won't receive my card until that's completed. I didn't even ask for a change.

Surely, there has be a quicker system than this? Luckily I will have my AFL membership until I receive it, but still not good enough IMO.
