Get the feeling that Wallace's comments the other day might see JB thinking about pulling the pin. Whether he does or not could come down to how those who have currently filled his position.do the graceful thing bowdy and retire, take a role in the club, too many snapping at your heels

Yes lets remember how well things went the last time he got sent back, JB went on and won a couple of AA's and B&F's meanwhile the team won what? The guy isn't even 30 yet, is he? He has been a great servant the past few years...
How quickly we forget...
He also comes across as one of the more intelligent footballers in the RFC. I'm sure he's smart enough to see what he needs to work on. The spell in the 2s will do him good. Remember what happened last time he went back to the 2s? He came back and did really well.

Well how about sending Boak & Salopek over to us and we'll send Bowden and Tivendale your way.I would think that JB had some decent trade value if u include those things, could possibly get a decent young player or a top 15 pick if lucky?
Trade bait?

Correction, there is one person and his name happens to the Terry Wallace. Said in the pre game on Sunday that Thursfield, Schulz and McGuane will be 10-12 year players for the club and currently have first crack at the tall defenders spots. Doesn't come any clearer than that.1 win and 1 draw and suddenly Richmond are a premiership chance
Bowden will be back in the firsts as soon as we loose and Coburg win, which they will do this weekend. Bowden may come back and play a dfferent role, but we still need him at the club. Noone can honestly say that McGuane and Hyde have done enough the last two week to justify their selection in the team, McGuane esspeacialy.

If anyone missed them Wallace basically said the Thursfield, McGuane and Schulz are going to be 10-12 year players for this club and at present deserve first crack at the tall defensive positions.
I know I'm being paranoid but was it not around this time last year that the Gasper "retirement" got messy for us?
Wallace told him he would not automatically gain selection ahead of the younger guys... Gas chucked a hissy fit and retired even though he had been named against The Cats?
IMO this took our eye off the ball and we know how large "a new one" Geelong tore Richmond that week!
We play the Hawks on Sunday...
Now if Wallace has had a similar discussion with Joel I hope he manages it a bit better than last years effort.
Tell me I'm being paranoid guys...
