Think this deserves its own thread. Where people can post attributes of retired players that others can use, or ask for advice on what attributes to put.

I made Lloyd tonight so I'll post him when I get the PS3 back.

Sniping: 100 ;)

98 seems a bit high for goal kick. Don't know what ratings the current best forwards have in the game, but does that mean for every 100 shots Lloyd takes he's going to dob 98 of them? Or am I reading way too much into a number

Bananas and goal kick are way too high. He was never really one for bananas, should be around the 70s, and goal kick should be high 80s. Set shot is maybe a touch too high, could be mid-90s. 98 is just ridiculous. He was a bloody good set shot, but one less than the maximum? Besides which, I reckon pumping stats into set shot at the high end is a waste of salary, it's not something like marking vs spoiling where a player will be directly competing with an opponent and an extra stat will make a difference.

He should have greater acceleration, greater agility, greater speed, and you haven't listed it but consistency and reaction time should be in the 90s, break-tackle mid-high 80s.

Reading over that it seems a bit harsh, I don't mean for it to be! It's tough making players accurate. How you judge the stats is also kind of arbitrary. Just saying what I'd do is all. :)

Surely the best full forward in 2000 deserves an overall higher than 82? Some of the individual attributes are a bit TOO high though.

It's 92, sorry. Reason I had some attributes higher is I believe he's better then than Brown, Riewoldt, Buddy etc are now.

And no I didn't see those stats. Will have a look now.

Second effort. Feeling like it's kinda too high now...

That's pretty good. Maybe knock a few stats off decision making (isn't really necessary for a FF) and injury and give a few to reaction time.

And I reckon 96 is pretty close to the mark. If it's high, it's only by a touch. He's one of the best FFs of all time. Daniel Bradshaw is 91 in the game, for context.

I'm doing the Swans Team of the Century at the moment. From memory, Plugger is 96 or 97. Also done Kelly, Skilton, Bedford, Healy and Cresswell. Fair to say I won't be able to use this team online! Healy is the lowest so far at 89, but has the benefit of flexibility, with strengths that will allow him to play forward pocket, HFF, wing or midfield at a high level.

I'll post some of their stats up when I find the time, people who've seen more of them (or any of them, in fact!) might be able to help me make some changes. Almost all of them were before my time.

Also, is it possible to take screenshots of the game? It'd be nice to show off the players' faces. Not that mine are any good, I suck at trying to create faces, but yeah.

I was temtped to make his goalkicking 90 and his set shots 30 :D Rarely missed a goal on the run:thumbsu:

But in all honesty I think 55 is a fair "at his best" rating considering in 1996 he kicked 91.49.

Yeah all good. Funny how perception doesn't always fit reality. Loved Richo as a player. My favourite non Dogs player when he was on the park. :thumbsu:

Bit of biased knit-picking but I'd add a couple to mark, mark jostle (rarely beaten 1-on-1 in marking contest) and a couple on goal kick banana, other than that pretty good effort. What does that make the great man overall?

He's already 98 (albeit at the low end), can't really add too much more.
