Still not right. Prestigiacomo has been in the best 3 or 4 full backs all year.

Are you serious??? I was hoping for a serious poll here...

Who the hell is Brett Rutten. I voted purely on the surname.

are u kidding?
Mal Michael is the number one spoiler in the comp.
would u prefer ur full back to never miss a spoil (obviously when it comes in quick theres nothing u can do), or take a mark sometimes n get 15 touches, but concede more goals (like scarlett).
i know who i'd pick on gehrig or hall on grand final day.

Spoiling isn't the only method to beating out your opponent.

Should the ball come in, Michael is likely to spoil it, as you have alluded to. Great defensive approach to the game, but in Scarlett's situation, he'd be more of a chance to out body his opponent and take the mark over them.

Result? Both achieve the main objective in stopping their direct opponent from a possession. Difference? Scarlett's mark ensures the team has possession of the ball, same can't always be said of Michael's spoil.

Not denying that Michael is one of the better fullbacks going around (IMO, has had a more consistent year to that of Matty), but simply underlining the flaw in your statement. Scarlett marking the ball isn't as insignificant as you make it out to be.
