What we have here – those who think he’s a creep for having the extra maritals, as well as those who think he’s a creep (me) for being a hypocrite.

Then you have some who probably admire him (the PJs of this world – why ain’t I surprised lol) . And I would challenge you G65, if you could get away with what Rex has done – with a 100% guarantee that none of your family would find out or be hurt – you would probably do the same.

And I guess, it’s the PJs of this world who are probably the most honest here. As a woman, I hate that attitude, but I don’t believe there’s any man in this world wouldn’t do the same as Rex if they could get away with it.

But it’s Rex’s hypocrisy in condemning others (like you did with Ox, saying “Are you just trying to justify your own indiscretions”) while he was having a dip himself. I’m not saying you have had extra maritals, but it’s none of your business what other people do with their lives, and as the bible says, those without sin cast the first stone, or whatever it says. Not only did Rex cheat his wife, but his wider audience, the ppl who listen to him. So, to me, it’s not the act of sex, but the lack of credibility which I will now view him with.

Happy enough to Mod the football-threads to keep them on-topic and hopefully of a quality high enough to attract people to read them. Keen to Mod out abuse so that people aren't frightened of being shouted down.

But when a thread like this happens happy enough to let the kids play in their own sandpit as long as they don't take liberties when the adults want to talk footy.
