Though I want to see Biglands banned so Hudson gets a run, I still think it was a complete accident, Biglands had every right to put his arm out to block the incoming tackle, unfortunately he is a big guy and it went too high.

Talk about overblowing the scenario...everyone I was watching it with though the same thing.

I think the saying, 'blessing in disguise' was made for incidents such as these.

As many have pointed out, when the Tribunal outs Rhett, it should only help our side.

A player low on confidence, who is clearly struggling (though he's not alone) is outed from the team. No Biglands should force Ayresy to return Kenny back to CHB and bring in either Perrie or Jericho. Enables Huddo to have another crack at the ruck, against a team reknowned for lacking something in the ruck department. The football IQ level of the team should also jump several points with his omission as well.

All good news.....so let's hope the Tribunal does the right thing by everyone

Well if Rhett gets 2-4 - and he will get something - then Baker should shoud get 5-7 for his attack on Kane Johnson.

Didnt see the Hamill incident - be nice if he gets 1 - off the ball apparently.

Agree with you Stiffy, that the way Biglands is playing & with Kenny being played out of position, it could do us a favour. Likely to get between 2-4 games, depending on the mood of the tribunal. Doubt they will be as forgiving as a couple of weeks ago though. What I would do for a smart ruckman...

When Rhett got reported in round 1, I fell off my chair laughing at the umpire for making such a stupid report.

When Rhett got reported on Sunday, I fell off my chair in sickness thinking that he'll get 5 (4 if he pleads guilty), and was yelling for him to be dragged. I hope Rhett's happy, that probably costed us a the match. Ah well, we may actually win on Saturday without him!

I am far from being a Crows supporter.
I simply replied to your post trying to justify Biglands action.
Maybe he needs you on his defence team, your classy vocabulary might just be what he needs.

I'm not sure who you support but you have all the hallmarks of a Port or Collingwood supporter.

It surprised me, most Crows supportes here have a little bit of class. I guess there is an exception to every rule.

While I think what Biglands did was completely uncalled-for and he deserves to be suspended, I was glad to see the guy show some aggression for once.

He is usually the biggest guy out on the field (in terms of height combined with bulk). He SHOULD be running through people - just not with his elbow aimed at their chin. Ask yourself when's the last time you saw big Rhett bust a pack open. I for one can't remember ever seeing it.

He needs to assert his presence on the field like Carey tries to do.
