Riccardi agrees to new contract

Good news, a great servant of the club. Hopefully will bring up his 250th game this season. Doesnt say the length of the contract but it couldnt be more than two years surely...

Good move. He will be able to give the young kids one last season of his leadership - at playing level - to set them up for big futures.

Very pleased Ricco is staying with the caters for another year hopefully he can teach the young,new guys something. C' MON THE CATS FOR 2004!!!!

Well, a two year deal wouldn't surprise me from the Geelong Football Club... In fact, nothing does anymore.

He wasn't good value this year, so what makes you all think he'll be of benefit next year. He bludged his way through 2003 and is preserving himself so he can keep on receiving hefty salaries each year until the club finally pension him off. But the way they reluctantly force players out, it could be a while before we see the back of Ricco.
