I believe he can if warranted like any other rookie. See Witts for the pies when he started.

First part is right but Witts was never a rookie. Pretty sure he is a normal rookie in every sense apart from he doesn't use up an actual spot. (He will if he is promoted)

The 3 year non reg relates to Soldo having not been registered for the previous 3 years which allowed us to sign him immediately.

First part is right but Witts was never a rookie. Pretty sure he is a normal rookie in every sense apart from he doesn't use up an actual spot. (He will if he is promoted)

Witts was a NSW scholarship player if I remember correctly. Not sure if he was on the main list but thought he was a rookie outside normal channels as he was from NSW.

They put him straight on the main list because he could have chosen GWS as a kid from NSW.
