I agree with you evo, but to me one thing needs to be different. The board needs to be elected. I'm assuming a smooth transition means for the alternative ticket to be handed the reins. This is part of the same culture of the past 20 years and it needs to change. Stuff the media, there'll be bloodletting either way.
There are definite options for our board. The only way for members to have their say is to vote, which is their right, and it should not be denied by backroom politics. The end result may well be the same as Casey handing over. The big difference will be some credibility to whoever our next board is because they will have been chosen by the proper process.
