Richo hamstrung by hamstring again

Matthew Richardson’s troublesome hamstring has flared again, casting doubt over his immediate playing future.
Richardson limped off in the opening minutes during the Tigers’ 45 point loss to St Kilda at the Telstra Dome on Easter Monday and did not return.
The Tigers later confirmed their eight time leading goalkicker had suffered a torn right hamstring and would miss at least two matches.
That means Richardson will be ruled out of at least the crunch games against winless pair Geelong and Adelaide, which could well shape the Tigers’ season given the club has already lost its past two matches since its promising first-up win over Collingwood.
However given Richardson’s history with hamstring injuries, there is a concern he could be out for even longer.
In 2002 he missed three games early in the season with a hamstring injury, only to return in round six of that season and re-injure it again - which then cost him another five matches on the sidelines.
And last year he also missed two matches with a hamstring injury, although he did make a successful comeback on that occasion by kicking four goals in the round eight win over Melbourne.
Richmond coach Danny Frawley said his side would have to cope with playing without Richardson far better than they did against the Saints on Easter Monday.
“We lost a bit of confidence when he went off,” he said.
“We’ve trained all summer with Matthew at the top of the goal-square (and without him) we lost confidence going into attack.”
“But we’ve got to be better than that.”
Frawley said youngster Jay Schulz was the player most likely to replace Richardson while the Tigers will also have to replace Chris Hyde (corked hip) with Rory Hilton, Tom Roach and ex-Carlton wingman Simon Fletcher in contention to take his spot.
Surely u would play Otto @FF before Schulz.
Put Schulz on the Flank
