I consider myself quite knowledgable on this years draft... so here it goes second time round.

#1 Melbourne: Tom Scully

The dees will snap up scully without doubt. No suprises here

#2 Melbourne: Jack Trengove
Another obvious pick, With Trengove and Scully the dees midfield will look great for the next decade.

#3 Richmond: Dustin Martin
Once again this is not a surprise. Seems the tigers have already committed to Martin as he looks like a potential elite midfielder.

#4 Fremantle: Anthony Morabito
This selection rounds out an expected top 4. Morabito will slot in nicely along side Hill and Palmer to form an exciting midfield for the dockers for the future.

#5 Kangaroos: Ben Cunnington
This kid has massive potential to be an A-Grade midfielder in the AFL. Scott will embrace this selection as he is a ready made footballer who is as tough as nails.

#6 Sydney: Gary Rohan

I think Sydney will toss up between Lucas and Rohan here, However Rohan is an excitement machine who is blistering speed and will assist in Sydney in forming a dangerous forward line to go with White and Bradshaw.

#7 West Coast: Lewis Jetta
This selection seems expected. Jetta makes the eagles future look even brighter. His clean hands and agility are second to none in this draft.

#8 Port Adelaide: John Butcher
This should be a given if Butcher slides this far. Port will be rapt with Butcher as by the time Tredrea retires he will have had afew pre-seasons under his belt and be ready to lead the power's forward line.

#9 Port Adelaide: Jake Melksham
After selecting Butcher, Port will snap up a midfielder and Melksham should be taken due to his ball winning ability and his clean skills. Port fans should be ecstatic with their first 2 selections.

#10 Essendon: Kane Lucas
Essendon should be thanking its lucky stars to see Lucas fall to them. This kid is a ball magnet as he averaged 19 possesions this year. Can play almost anywhere which will please essendon fans.

#11 Melbourne: Aaron Black
Dees will be rapt with this selection. Black will give the dees a bright future up forward along with Jurrah and Watts. His ball winning ability and athletisicm will make this an easy choice for the melbourne recruiting staff.

#12 Carlton: Jake Carlisle
No shocker here with carlton selecting a KPF. Carlisle will take 2-3 years to develop but will be a solid player for the Blues.

#13 Adelaide: Luke Tapscott
Very good selection here for the crows. Tapscott can play as a midfielder or a forward. Hes got great hands and can find the ball and looks ready to play AFL.

#14 Sydney: Daniel Talia
This selection will make sydneys draft one of the best. Talia is a versatile footballer who can play back or forward. Will slot in nicely for the swans most likely down back.

# 15 Western Bulldogs: Mathew Panos
Alot of people have this guy sliding but he is one of the best KPF in this draft. Could be a great selection for the dogs and work well with Hall. One of the most accurate kicks for goal in the draft.\

#16 Port Adelaide: Koby Stevens
Biggest slider in the draft. Port fans will be rapt to get this guy. A genuine midfielder who averaged 18 disposals this year and is ready to play AFL.

#17 Geelong Mitchell Fisher
Bit of a suprise here in the first round. But geelong will be satisfied with this pick he is a dangerous half back flanker who is extremely quick and rarely turns the ball over.

# 18: Nathan Vardy
I dont know if he will slide this far but i think it will happen. The best ruckman in the draft and melbourne will be ecstatic to have bolstered their midfield, forward line and now ruck stocks

# 19 Richmond Ben Griffifths
A solid KPF and the tigers will take him. A big presence who will be ready to play AFL before most talls in the draft

#20 Fremantle: Troy Taylor
This kid has clean hands and can find the ball easily. Dockers have selected a good one here.

Thoughts?

Would love Tapscott and 13.
He seems to be sliding in a few drafts of late.
Hopefully it happens on draft day.

massive shock with Mitchell fisher to geelong at 17!
I agree he could be a late riser but doubt he'll go 1st round.

And seeing as though your so knowledgeable about this years draft, could you speculate West Coast's picks at 22/23?

I dont see many holes in West coasts prospects for the future so i dont think these picks are so important to their future.

But id expect you guys to take trav colyer and brad sheppard.

Sheppard will be a good replacement for wirra as he likes to rebound and get his touches of the half back flank.

Colyer is another midfielder with great upside.

However if a KPF slips to your pick 22 or 23 you may go tall.

bit annoyed you coudnt just complete the 2nd round it would make it alot more enjoyable for other teams so we can see more than 1 pick. would you be able to finish of the 2nd round but i do like lucas at 10 if not him then tapscott. but yeh fair job just need to add the rest of the 2nd round buddy.
